Vanessa Lachey is ready to dig for answers to Love Is Blind fans' burning questions.

Speaking to PEOPLE ahead of the season 6 reunion (which drops Wednesday night on Netflix), Vanessa teases that the reunion will bring about a lot of drama — and some much-needed closure after a roller coaster season.

"Season 6 was all the things.... I feel like there's so many people relate to it, even whether it's a beautiful moment that you're crying about and saying 'aww' to, or a cringey moment that you can't look away from, we've all done these things," the NCIS: Hawai'i star, 43, explains of the show, which she co-hosts with husband Nick Lachey. "I know that in certain cringey moments, I've been that girl in the relationship, and I didn't play mine out, fortunately, on television."

She continues, "But for them, while there is one side that some of them are bummed about, I think that having spoken to them after, they're all just so grateful for the experience that they got ... [and for] finding out about themselves and having this opportunity to dive inward, towards themselves."

A trailer for the season 6 reunion dropped last week, showing the cast — Johnny McIntyreAmy CortésJimmy PresnellChelsea Blackwell, Clay Gravesande, Amber Desiree "AD" Smith,  Jeramey Lutinski, Laura Dadisman, Sarah Ann Bick,  Trevor Sova, Kenneth Gorman and Brittany Mills — returning to update fans on what's happened since cameras stopped rolling.

From Vanessa's perspective, she believes the reunion "is an amazing opportunity for all of our season 6 friends to say their side of the story, what we didn't see, what we didn't feel, what we didn't know."

Vanessa also notes that Netflix and Love Is Blind's production company Kinetic Content are "not out to have any 'gotcha' moments with all of our season 6 friends. They want them to feel the experiment from the beginning to the end."

"So this is an opportunity for them to say, 'Hey, this part didn't air, and here's what I was feeling, and this is what I was going through, and this was me, but I've learned, and I've had a year to have therapy, and talk to friends, and I'm better now,' or whatever it is," she explains. "The reunion always has, I believe, closure for a lot of people, or stirs things up for other people."

In a series first, the reunion was filmed in front of a live audience and will feature the return of several Love Is Blind alums, including season 1's Giannina Gibelli, season 3's Alexa Alfia Lemieux and Brennon Lemieux as well as Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton; season 4's Kwame Appiah and Chelsea Griffin AppiahBrett Brown and Tiffany Pennywell Brown, and Micah Lussier, and season 5's Izzy Zapata.

Having those people in the room brought about a special kind of "energy" as they filmed the special, according to Vanessa.

"There's a lot of eyes on this one. And so it was really beautiful to bring the family back together," she says. "And they are so fun in the reunion because they add another layer that I don't think anyone will expect."

"They're already sitting out there, and they're in couches, and they're facing the stage, and there's also a live audience that we had, so you feel that energy," she continues. "But the great thing was we were able to film this over five hours and allow people to say their piece, say their story from beginning, middle to end, no rushing, no missing anyone. And then in the end, they put together a beautiful reunion that I think everyone's going to love."

The highly anticipated reunion will debut one week after the season 6 finale aired on Netflix, showing the remaining three couples preparing to say "I do" or "I don't." Prior to the finale, Kenneth and Brittany and Laura and Jeramey had both called off their engagements.

In the finale episode, Jimmy called it quits on his engagement to Chelsea after several explosive fights, including one blowout argument that ultimately broke Jimmy's trust. Clay and AD made it to the altar, and AD said "yes" to Clay — who responded with a "no," claiming he was "not ready" to commit to a marriage. As for Amy and Johnny, they tied the knot, proving love can truly be blind after all.
