On Tuesday, the 15-year-old son of golf legend Tiger Woods and his ex-wife Elin Nordegren received his state championship ring after his North Palm Beach, Florida school won the Class 1A golf title. As The Benjamin School team showed off their sparkly new hardware, Woods, 48, and Nordegren, 44, looked on proudly. In photos from the event, the parents hugged Charlie and smiled widely while taking in the ceremony. Last month, Charlie came up short to qualify for the PGA Tour, after failing to advance in the 2024 Cognizant Classic tournament at PGA National in Palm Beach Gardens, Florida. The Palm Beach Post reported that "more than 50 fans" followed Charlie as he moved through the course, and he was even approached by one who was equipped with a pen and a copy of Tiger's book, How I Play Golf, hoping that he would sign it. As for Tiger, his own next appearance on the golf course will be a major one — at the Masters next month in Augusta, Georgia. The five-time Masters winner is on the official entry list of competitors at the tournament.
