I’m so pleased for Tammy to be living her best life!” And yet another chimed in, “Tammy! You look fantastic! So proud of you.” The 1000-Lb. Sisters star had recently been criticized for posting heavily filtered selfies, prompting Slaton, 37, to speak out in defense of her photo edits. Tammy Slaton/Instagram “I keep seeing everybody say, ‘Stop using filters, stop using filters,’” the reality star said last August in an Instagram Reel, which she captioned, “Over this stupid filter bull crap.” “Listen, I am not trying to be rude, but it’s my profile,” the TLC star said. “And if I like using the filters, I will. All the spots from the sun and the freckles,” Tammy said, pointing to her cheeks. However, in her FaceTime call, Slaton skipped the filters for a natural look while she spoke to Haley Michelle, a self-described “paranormal princess” that Slaton has featured on her social media accounts before. It’s not clear if the Slaton sisters are hiring Michelle to do some paranormal investigating for them — or just hanging out, but as Slaton shared in her Instagram stories, “I can’t wait to see you again my sister,” prompting Michelle to reply, “See you soon.” And Slaton teased, “Stay tuned” — so perhaps the sisters will adding some ghost hunting to their schedules.
