Kareem Abdul Jabbar

Kareem Abdul-Jabbar is an American former professional basketball player. He spent 20 seasons in the NBA as a center for the Milwaukee Bucks from 1969 to 1975 and the Los Angeles Lakers from 1975 to 1989. He is considered one of the best basketball players of all time, becoming a record six-time NBA Most Valuable Player (MVP), a record 19-time NBA All-Star and a 15-time All-NBA Team member throughout his career. Abdul-Jabbar is also an outspoken advocate for social justice, earning a Presidential Medal of Freedom in 2016.
