Before the Bull was unmasked as YouTuber Todrick Hall, he got everyone on their feet with "You Gotta Be" by Des'ree. The queen sang "What's Going On" by Marvin Gaye for her acoustic act, and later unmasked to reveal herself to be Grammy nominee Jewel.

"It's just the privilege of a lifetime to get to be yourself," the "Who Will Save Your Soul" singer said of her experience on The Masked Singer. "This show oddly really gets at your essence and I find that really special about this show."

The mom of 10-year-old son Kase also shared why she picked the Queen of Hearts getup. "I'm not a cool person. I never have been," Jewel explained. "But I have a lot of heart and that's why I wanted to be the heart."

This week, it was up to Bull or Skunk to take the title of Group A champion. Bull brought the energy with a solo performance of Paula Abdul's "Straight Up" and then sang "Breakeven" by The Script alongside season 3 runner-up Jesse McCartney. Skunk blew the judges away with their version of "I Never Loved a Man (The Way I Love You)" by Aretha Franklin and then belted out "Ain't No Mountain High" with Masked Singer newcomer Michael Bolton.

In the end, judges Robin Thicke and Nicole Scherzinger guessed that Skunk was singer Faith Evans — and they were correct.

"This is a lot of work," Evans said of her Masked Singer experience after unmasking. "However, it was so much fun!

Host Nick Cannon asked Evans how it felt to be performing again amid the COVID-19 pandemic. "It feels good," the mother of four replied. "It feels like I never left. It feels like I came back with about 20 extra lbs.!"

Host Nick Cannon announced that the first star to take off their mask would be Jester. Jester surprised the panel by revealing his identity as The Sex Pistols' Johnny Rotten.

"We've only got one life and we must explore all the possibilities and be limited by no one for no reason," said the 65-year-old star.

"It's fun to be spicy," said the star.

The "These Words" singer said she hoped to inspire emotion in viewers. "I just want people to feel something," she said. "And so I really try to tell a story."

Mallard went first during this week's Thanksgiving-themed episode and sang Brooks & Dunn's "Play Something Country." Caterpillar went for "It's Gonna Be Me" by *NSYNC, Queen of Hearts delivered a powerful version of "River" by Bishop Briggs, Banana Spilt performed "Let 'Er Rip" by The Chicks. Beach Ball belted "Party in the USA" by Miley Cyrus and showed that they actually had two sides to them — and likely two celebs underneath the large costume. Unfortunately for Beach Ball, their first performance also served as their last because they received the least amount of votes. When Beach Ball was unmasked, Here Comes Honey Boo Boo stars Thompson and Shannon appeared.

"It was definitely very hot," Thompson said of their time singing in their outfit. "And we had a lot of things going on. We had to move the mouth, make sure we don't roll off the stage. It was a lot."

Added Shannon, "Yeah, a lot!"

Season 6, Week 5: Hamster

Celebrity Behind the Mask: Rob Schneider

Everyone got into the Halloween spirit this week. Bull started off the spooky show with Bob Dylan's "Make You Feel My Love." Pepper chose "No Tears Left to Cry" by Ariana Grande. Skunk brought the energy with Teena Marie's "Square Bizz," Hamster dedicated a rendition of Miguel's "Sabor a Mí" to his wife and wildcard Jester rocked out to Alice Cooper's "School's Out." In the end, Hamster received the least amount of votes and had to head home.

Judge Jenny McCarthy guessed actor Rob Schneider, which turned out to be correct!

"It's hard competing against a bull who can do the splits. That's pretty impressive," the former Saturday Night Live cast member joked. "I saw that and I said, 'I'm gonna take my nut bag and get out of here.'"

Schneider admitted to feeling anxious backstage. "I was so nervous and I go, what am I this nervous about? I'm dressed as a hamster," he said. "You get into it. It is one of the best experiences I've ever had."

Cupcake received the least number of votes and unmasked to be The Pointer Sisters' Ruth Pointer.

"I did what I came to do," Pointer said after being unmasked.

The "Jump (For My Love)" singer also confessed to being an avid Masked Singer viewer. "I'm a huge fan of the show," she said. "I've been watching it the whole time."

The Oct. 6, 2021, episode featured contestants Bull, Hamster, Skunk and Baby — plus a new wildcard player.

Baby launched into a unique rendition of the Flintstones theme song before showing off their party favor: a tailgate grill and cooler filled with baby bottles. Other clues included this teaser from the star: "I love a good house party, the best house party I've ever been on was a trip — it was a house party on a bus, cross country," they said. "I got to bring my whole family along for the ride, I even got pictures of my kids taking a bath in the sink."

As votes were tallied, the bottle-bearing star was revealed to be none other than Larry the Cable Guy.

"It was just fun," he told EW after the show. "Everybody was super fun and super nice, and it was a great time."

Celebrity Behind the Mask: Tyga

This week, Dalmatian received the least amount of votes and had to unmask. Underneath the swaggy canine costume was rapper Tyga.

"I thought you would definitely know, Robin, for sure!" the "Rack City" rapper told judge Robin Thicke.

When host Nick Cannon asked Tyga why he wanted to come on the show, the rapper mentioned another hip-hop star who appeared on a previous season.

"I saw Wayne do it!" Tyga said of season 3's Lil Wayne.

Celebrity Behind the Mask: Vivica A. Fox

The Masked Singer's two-night premiere continued with a Back-to-School themed night on Sept. 23, 2021.

Host Nick Cannon announced the night prior that Mother Nature would be the second Group A contestant going home and unmasking after Octopus, who turned out to be Los Angeles Lakers player Dwight Howard. Episode two started off by revealing Mother Nature's identity as Vivica A. Fox.

"This has been exhilarating," the actress said after being unmasked. "I challenged myself. You know, I've done so many things in my career, and I've never done anything like this before."

Season 6, Week 1: Octopus

Celebrity Behind the Mask: Dwight Howard

Masked Singer is back for another season with a new cast of characters —and a new twist: The Take It Off Buzzer.

Essentially, if one of the panelists is 100% certain they know who the contestant is beneath the mask, they can hit the Take It Off Buzzer at any time and give the name. If correct, that contestant must unmask and leave the competition. The panelist then gets two points toward the Golden Ear Trophy.

If they're wrong, however, the contestant stays in the competition and the panelist loses those two points. The new buzzer can only be used once in Group A and once in Group B, meaning not every panelist will get a shot at using the buzzer.

On the Season 6 premiere, Skunk kicked things off with a performance of Sam Smith's "Diamonds," Octopus sang Little Richard's "Tutti Frutti," Pufferfish went with "Say So" by Doja Cat, Mother Nature sang "I'm Coming Out" by Diana Ross and Bull sang Train's "Drops of Jupiter."

Octopus, who called eight his lucky number and included alphabet blocks and a golden telephone in their clue package, was the first to leave the competition.

The eight-legged invertebrate sang "Tutti Frutti" by Little Richard and told Cannon he went on The Masked Singer because his mom loves the show. The judges tossed out past and present NBA stars Dwight Howard, Shaquille O'Neal and Dennis Rodman.

Ken Jeong, who guessed Howard, was correct!

The season 5 finale started off with season 4 winner LeAnn Rimes singing her hit "How Do I Live" with the three finalist: Black Swan, Chameleon and Piglet.

Chameleon came back out for a solo performance of "Gangsta's Paradise" by Coolio featuring L.V., then Black Swan sang Michael Bolton's "How Am I Supposed to Live Without You." Piglet ended with "Faithfully" by Journey and then the panel and virtual audience voted to determine who would take home the Golden Mask Trophy. In the end, Chameleon placed third, Black Swan placed second and Piglet took first.

Chameleon unmasked as rapper Wiz Khalifa, Black Swan was JoJo and Piglet ended up as Nick Lachey.

"I had the best time going on this incredibly twisted, weird ride that is The Masked Singer," Lachey said.

The "What's Left of Me" singer and dad of three said he agreed to go on the show for his children.

"My kids wanted me to do the show for so long. Like, 'Daddy, daddy, please do Masked Singer.' So I'm so excited," Lachey continued. "They have no idea that I've done this … daddy's coming home with a little hardware!"

Ahead of the season 5 finale, the final three secured their spot while two celebrities were unmasked.

Yeti began with Kool & the Gang's "Celebration," Black Swan took on Dan + Shay's "Tequila," Chameleon jammed out to "Oh Boy" from Cam'Ron featuring Juelz Santana and Piglet ended with Lewis Capaldi's "Bruises."

Before host Nick Cannon could get to the vote, Cluedle-Doo suddenly came out and declared that he wanted to reveal his identity. Underneath the mask was judge Jenny McCarthy's husband Donnie Wahlberg.

"I've been sneaking in and out," the New Kids on the Block member joked. "There's two reasons why I'm here, honestly. One, obviously to see my wife and two, you know, it's been so long since I've performed for my fans."

The contestant who earned the least votes was Yeti, who ended up being Omarion.

The "Ice Box" singer said he came on the show for "a new challenge."

"This was [an] amazing experience," the former B2K member said. "So thank you guys for all of your compliments. I truly appreciated it, I had so much fun."

Season 5, Week 9: Russian Dolls

The quarterfinals started with Russian Dolls taking on Elton John's "I'm Still Standing." Black Swan went next with Ed Sheeran's "Thinking Out Loud" and Piglet followed with "Superstition" by Stevie Wonder. Yeti mellowed things out with Rascal Flatts' "Bless the Broken Road" and Chameleon closed out the show with "Drop It Like It's Hot" by Snoop Dogg featuring Pharrell Williams.

Once the votes poured in, host Nick Cannon said that the vote ended up being "one of the closest of the entire season," but it was Russian Dolls who ultimately had to unmask. The trio revealed themselves to be Hanson, making them the first group to compete together on the show.

"It's been a blast," Taylor Hanson said.

Zac Hanson called the show "a unique opportunity to do something very different and also play to a whole new audience."

Taylor added that the group appreciated the chance "to be able to just start with music and focus and say, 'Hey, you don't know what's behind this.'"

Season 5, Week 8: Robopine

The Spicy 6 hit the stage for Cinco de Mayo this week. Yeti started the night off with "It Takes Two" by Rob Base and DJ EZ Rock and Robopine went next with Boyz II Men's "Water Runs Dry." Piglet belted out "Against All Odds (Take a Look at Me Now)" by Phil Collins, Black Swan served Stevie Wonders' "Do I Do," Russian Dolls dueted "Shallow" by Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper and Chameleon closed out the night with Busta Rhymes' "Put Your Hands Where My Eyes Could See."

Unfortunately, Robopine received the least number of votes and had to unmask. The celebrity underneath? Fast and Furious star Tyrese Gibson.

"When you have two daughters, you look for those moments to sit in front of the TV and do something fun as a family, so here I am now with a Robopine outfit on," the actor said of why he came on the show. "I just want to say thank y'all for the love."

Two celebrities were unmasked for the first time this season for this week's Super 8 round.

Piglet went first and rocked out to "The Pretender" by Foo Fighters, Robopine went next with Marvin Gaye's "Let's Get It On." Chameleon went old school with "Regulate" by Warren G featuring Nate Dogg, Yeti took on Justin Bieber and Benny Blanco's "Lonely" and Russian Dolls brought the house down to Bruno Mars' "24k Magic."

Crab sang Phil Collins' "In the Air Tonight" and Seashell went with Tiffany's "I Think We're Alone Now" before it was revealed that they were the two who received the least number of votes. Crab took off his mask first to reveal New Edition alum Bobby Brown.

"This suit is way too tight for that," Brown joked about why he didn't bust out any of his signature dance moves on the show.

Seashell revealed herself to be The Real co-host Tamera Mowry-Housley and said, "To have made it just like, this far means a lot because I have heard those voices back there. It was like, what the hell? But I had so much fun!"

Season 5, Week 6: Orca

Judges Nicole Scherzinger and Ken Jeong welcomed host Nick Cannon back to the show by performing their twist on Dionne Warwick's "That's What Friends Are For." Then, Russian Dolls lead the Group A finals with Jason DeRulo's "Want to Want Me." Robopine went next with a sultry rendition of Roberta Flack's "Killing Me Softly," while Seashell covered "Tell Me Something Good" by Rufus featuring Chaka Khan. Wildcard contestant Orca took the stage next with Poison's "Every Rose Has Its Thorn," a tribute to his dad, followed by wildcard Yeti, who performed "If It Isn't Love" by New Edition.

Once the virtual audience and panel submitted their votes, Cannon announced that Yeti would move forward because Orca received the fewest number of votes and had to unmask. The judges' guesses included Billie Joe Armstrong, Jon Bon Jovi and Dave Grohl before Sugar Ray's Mark McGrath appeared from under Orca's mask.

"Dave Grohl? Bon Jovi?" McGrath remarked. "My head is still as big as Orca is right now!"

Season 5, Week 5: Bulldog

It was the Group B finals when the show added one last wildcard to the group for the ultimate twist. Black Swan began with Whitney Houston's "How Will I Know," then Piglet covered Lukas Graham's "7 Years." Crab performed "Give It to Me Baby" by Rick James before Chameleon brought the house down with "Hip Hop" by Dead Prez. Then, at the last minute, wildcard Bulldog came in and dedicated his cover of New Edition's "Candy Girl to interim host Niecy Nash.

Instead of letting the panel and virtual audience vote on who would go home, Nash said that she would decide and chose Bulldog. Once the wildcard took off his mask, it turned out to be host Nick Cannon.

"I was trying to go all the way, Niecy!" joked Cannon, who had taken a break from the show to recover from COVID-19.

Season 5, Week 4: Grandpa Monster

This week for Group B, Grandpa Monster kicked off the night with an energetic rendition of Joan Jett's "Bad Reputation." Then, Piglet covered Andy Grammer's "Good to Be Alive (Hallelujah)" and received a round of oinks from the panel.

Black Swan followed up by belting "In My Blood" by Shawn Mendes and Chameleon rapped to 50 Cent's "21 Questions."

Wildcard contestant Crab delivered a heartfelt performance of Bill Withers' "Ain't No Sunshine" and earned enough votes to be able to stick around for another week. Grandpa Monster ended up with the least votes and when his furry mask came off, YouTuber Logan Paul appeared.

"Singing is so scary for me and being in this costume, ironically, as restrictive as it is, it feels so freeing here," the controversial 25-year-old said. "It was a lot of fun."

Paul also gave his pick to win the Golden Mask trophy.

"Good luck, Black Swan," he said. "I want her to win. She's very good."

Season 5, Week 3: Raccoon

The Group A Wildcard Round started off with Russian Doll, who surprised the audience and judges by bringing out a third singer during their performance of "Wonder" by Shawn Mendes. Raccoon came up next and performed Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire," followed by Robopine's heartfelt rendition of John Legend's "All of Me."

Next, Seashell owned the stage with her powerful version of Demi Lovato's "Confident," and then the show's first wildcard contestant, Orca, took the stage, hoping to steal a spot from one of the contestants who'd already performed.

Orca sang Twisted Sister's "We're Not Gonna Take It," and the panel guessed The Smashing Pumpkins' Billy Corgan, Kevin Bacon or Foo Fighters' Dave Grohl.

When the judges and virtual audience voted, they chose to keep Orca in the competition and sent home Raccoon. Once the "take it off" chants started, Raccoon began to unbuckle his belt. Then he popped off his black and white mask to reveal actor Danny Trejo.

"I feel like a winner," the Machete star, 76, said after being unmasked.

He also complimented judge Jenny McCarthy. "I love the work that you do," Trejo continued. "And I mean that from the bottom of my heart."

It was all about Group B during week 2 of the competition. Black Swan went first with a performance to Heart's "Barracuda." Grandpa Monster came out next to Lou Bega's "Mambo No. 5 (A Little Bit Of…)." Chameleon made their debut next to "Ride Wit Me" by Nelly and Phoenix brought the fire with her version of "TiK ToK" by Kesha. Piglet closed out the episode with a sultry rendition of Dan + Shay's "Speechless."

When it came down to who had the least number of votes, Phoenix came out at the bottom and unmasked themselves to reveal Olympic gold medalist and reality star Caitlyn Jenner.

"You can only work on the golf game for so long," Jenner teased of why she came on The Masked Singer, later adding, "Thank you for having me. I will be on the golf course tomorrow. Don't feel sorry for me."

Judge Jenny McCarthy wondered what Jenner's famous kids would think of her appearing on the show. "They've always known dad's a little crazy, will try anything," Jenner said. "Life's short, you've got to enjoy."

The season 5 premiere started off strong with a whole new cast of characters, a virtual audience and guest judge Niecy Nash, who is standing in for Nick Cannon as he recovers from COVID-19. Judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke are back and the new celebrity contestants kicked things off with exciting performances.

Group A made its debut with a performance of "Man in the Mirror" by larger-than-life Russian Doll, Snail continued with the Hall & Oates classic "You Make My Dreams (Come True)," Seashell took the stage next and, despite saying in their clue package that they hadn't sang in a while, wowed the judges with a cover of Roxette's "Listen to Your Heart."

Raccoon served their raspy take on "Wild Thing" by The Troggs, which featured an on-stage appearance by season 2's Flamingo (Adrienne Bailon Houghton), and Porcupine a.k.a. Robopine closed out the night with a smooth rendition of "Never Too Much." But in the end, it was Snail who got the least votes.

The judges shared their final guesses for Snail, which included Adam Corolla, Ted Cruz, Billy Crystal, Seth MacFarlane and Jay Leno. But to their surprise, it was Kermit the Frog who popped out of the costume, which had the judges cracking up.

"It's really been a pleasure," Kermit said of his time on the show.

He added, "Thanks for having me!"

Season 4, Week 11: Mushroom, Sun & Crocodile

It was anything but a silent night on The Masked Singer's season 4 finale.

Host Nick Cannon promised the episode — where Crocodile, Mushroom and Sun competed for the Golden Mask trophy — would be "a gift better than anything under your tree" and called the finalists the show's "strongest power vocalists of all time."

He was right. As the finale went on, Crocodile was the first to be unmasked — and it was none other than Backstreet Boy Nick Carter.

"I had to pull every trick out of the bag that I had," the boy band member said after being revealed. "I mean, there are some talented artists [that have] been on this show. And I'm just grateful to be here."

Second place went to Mushroom, also a singer: Aloe Blacc.

"Music is truly the language that connects us all and I got a chance to experience that and do just that here on this stage," the "I Need a Dollar" singer said following his unmasking.

That left the winner, Sun, whom Jenny McCarthy and Nicole Scherzinger both guessed was LeAnn Rimes. And they were right!

"This has been an overwhelming experience," the two-time Grammy winner said. "I didn't expect this to be this much work. I have to say. I was thinking like, I'll come on, this will be easy. This will be fun. And it was a blast."

The Super Six took place on Dec. 2, but only three undercover celebrities survived the night. That's right: a triple elimination! After several spectacular performances, it was Popcorn, Jellyfish and Seahorse who had to say their goodbyes.

Popcorn got the judges on their feet with her energetic rendition of Tina Turner's "Better Be Good to Me."

"That was not a performance, that was a religious experience," judge Ken Jeong said. Popcorn proceeded to remove her mask, and underneath appeared Taylor Dayne, who McCarthy and Scherzinger suspected.

"I had a ball," the Grammy nominee said. "Nobody understands how amazing this show is."

Then Jellyfish wiggled out of her outfit to reveal Jeong's guess (that Robinson copied!), Olympic snowboarder Chloe Kim.

"I'm such a big fan of all of you guys so this whole experience is just so amazing for me," the gold medalist told the panelists following her unmasking. "… You guys gave me so much confidence after each week and it's just been such a fun experience to be able to put myself out there, be vulnerable. I really, really appreciate it."

Seahorse closed out the big night when she took off her costume and proved Scherzinger and Thicke right as pop star Tori Kelly was revealed.

"I thought it'd just be fun to come out here and show a whole other side of myself, be a little more sassy, show some choreo," the "Nobody Love" singer said.

Kelly also looked forward to how the show would impact her going forward. "I'm just excited for what this means for the rest of my career, too," she said. "It's all good things."

Broccoli just missed making the Super Six when he got voted out and unmasked as Paul Anka on the Group C finale, but he doesn't mind.

"I didn't have any expectations," Anka, 79, told PEOPLE. "It was just fun to get out of the house and do it."

The legendary singer and songwriter took a break from working on his latest album — which will feature Andrea Bocelli, Il Divo and Olivia Newton-John — to partake in the singing competition.

"I've got a 15-year-old son and I've got grandchildren and we were fans of the show," he said before adding, "When I got the call, I really thought about it because I was in the middle of an album for quite a few months."

"It all came together where I can get out of the house, I could have some fun and I can get out and do some socialization," he added.

This week, Seahorse and Crocodile earned their spots in the Super Six and Whatchamacallit and Serpent had to say their goodbyes.

Whatchamacallit got all the panelists to "Lean Back" when he delivered the rap track, garnering a range of guesses that included NBA stars and J.B. Smoove. Judge Ken Jeong, surprisingly, nailed it with his suggestion of NBA star Lonzo Ball.

"I love music, I love performing, so this kind of brought it all together," the basketball pro, 23, said after being unmasked. "And I knew my mom watches this so it's going to definitely put a smile on her face when she sees me."

Serpent closed out by tackling "Cool" by the Jonas Brothers — and dropping more medical-related hints. The panel's final guesses ranged from Daveed Diggs to Taye Diggs, but Scherzinger hit it on the head by figuring out that Singing Surgeon Dr. Elvis Francois was under the snake.

"This is unbelievable," said 35-year-old Francois, who went viral with his cover of "Imagine." "It's a once-in-a-lifetime kind of situation. Very different from what I do on a day-to-day basis, but something I'll never forget the rest of my life."

The spine surgeon also called the show "an incredible way for us to move forward together."

"I'm just happy to play a small part," he said.

In this week's showdown, the Sun moved on to the Super Six and Popcorn and Snow Owls had to battle it out for a final spot.

Snow Owls performed a country rendition of "Because You Loved Me" by Celine Dion and Popcorn went for a sultry version of "(Everything I Do) I Do It For You" by Bryan Adams. The judges ultimately chose Popcorn to advance to the Super Six, which mean the Snow Owls had to unmask.

The panel made their final guesses, which included Danny DeVito and Rhea Perlman, Amy Grant and Vince Gill and Harry Hamlin and Lisa Rinna. Nicole Scherzinger nailed it, though, with her guess of Clint Black and Lisa Hartman.

Once the lovebirds wiggled out of their white, feathery masks, the country singer, 58, and his actress wife, 64, appeared.

"When I first saw the costumes I actually cried because they're so beautiful but they're so sweet," Hartman said of the Snow Owls outfit. "I couldn't wait to get into them."

Black shouted out the judges for making their Masked Singer experience a good one. "You guys are no Simon Cowell, that's all I'm going to say," the Grammy winner quipped. "You all are so nice and made us feel good every time."

Season 4, Week 6: Squiggly Monster

Bob Saget Bob Saget

This week was all about the Group C playoffs and Squiggly Monster kept the show rockin' with a rendition of "(I Can't Get No) Satisfaction" by The Rolling Stones. Panelist Ken Jeong called it "the most fun performance of the night," but it wasn't enough to keep Squiggly Monster in the competition.

Panelists Jenny McCarthy and Robin Thicke both put Bob Saget down for their first impression guesses, and Jeong switched his from Fabio to the Full House star. Even guest judge Wayne Brady suggested Saget — and they were all right!

"What you guys do here is why I wanted to do this," said the actor and comedian. "Because, you know, we're all going through a tough time. I get to be part of your joy and it's needed so bad. They said, 'Do you want to be Squiggly Monster?' And they sent me a picture and I said, 'Yeah!'"

Season 4, Week 5: Lips

After taking a week off for the World Series, the competition returned with Group C to kick things off.

Squiggly Monster delivered a soulful rendition of Creedence Clearwater Revival's "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." Mushroom followed up with an unexpected take on "This Woman's Work" by Maxwell.

Broccoli surprised the judges with a tribute to rock and roll legends Stevie Ray Vaughn and Jerry Lee Lewis, and finally, Lips closed out the evening with a spirited version of Odessey's "Native New Yorker." Unfortunately, Lips' first performance also became her last.

Panelist Ken Jeong chose Mariah Carey for his first impression guess, while Robin Thicke went with Sandra Bernhard. Jenny McCarthy opted for Wendy Williams, and Scherzinger agreed — and the ladies guessed correctly. When Lips removed her mask to show more than just her mouth, Williams appeared on stage.

"Well, first of all, they're fabulous," the talk show host said of why she wanted to be Lips. "I can't sing, I can't dance, but I know how to have fun."

"I was relieved to have at least done one," Williams told PEOPLE about her experience on the show. "Because normally that's something I don't do. I'm not a singer. I'm not a dancer. I talk. That's what I do. That's why I chose the Lips. But everybody was so kind."

Despite Group B's strong showing of performances, host Nick Cannon announced that Baby Alien did not make the cut.

The judges gave their final guesses as to who might be under the intergalactic outfit: Eric Bana, Jason Biggs, Jeff Dunham, Nick Kroll and Freddie Prinze Jr.

But the panelists' suggestions landed in a galaxy far, far away. Cannon and one of the Men in Black helped Baby Alien out of his costume to reveal former NFL player Mark Sanchez.

Of what he enjoyed most about being on the show, the retired quarterback said, "Sharing this experience with my little man. He knows the words to 'Faith' now. He knows the words to 'It's Time' by Imagine Dragons, so we've been rocking out in the car. It's been fun. It's been really fun."

One week after the first-ever contestant removed their costume without being voted off, the competition returned with the Group A Playoffs.

Popcorn, Giraffe, Snow Owls and Sun battled for a spot in the Group A Finals and revealed more clues about themselves.

When it came time for the judges and virtual audience to vote for their favorite performance of the night, Giraffe landed at the bottom after singing Kool & the Gang's "Get Down On It."

The panelists made their final guesses as to who could be under the costume, including Travis Barker, Dale Earnhardt Jr., Seth Green, Shia LaBeouf and Jason Priestley. When Giraffe took off his long neck, Brian Austin Green appeared underneath.

"It's been fun. It's been a really good time," the Beverly Hills, 90210 actor said of his experience.

"I've loved messing with Ken. We've never met before, but you talk way too much," he added.

This week, the judges, host Nick Cannon and the audience were shocked when Gremlin decided to take off his mask. As the judges were deliberating on who the Crocodile and Serpent could be, Gremlin declared, "I want to take this off right now," after performing "Stand by Me" by Ben E. King.

Cannon tried to stop him and the judges begged Gremlin to keep the mask on. "It's not that part of the show yet!" Cannon said.

But Gremlin couldn't be tamed. He yanked off the fuzzy purple head to reveal Mickey Rourke.

"I was just in the neighborhood," the Oscar-nominated actor joked of why he wanted to appear on The Masked Singer. "I liked the show. I watched like four episodes and they asked me, 'Would you be interested?'"

Since Gremlin self-eliminated, the other competitors get to stick around for another week.

The Masked Singer is back! Season 4 began by introducing 16 new singers, and a few new updates to the show.

This season, there will be a virtual audience that will be deciding which singer gets unmasked and eliminated by voting for their favorite performance of the night.

The performer with the least number of votes each week will have to say goodbye.

There will also be a prize for judges Ken Jeong, Jenny McCarthy, Nicole Scherzinger and Robin Thicke. The four panelists will lock in their first impression guesses for each singer after seeing their initial performance, and whoever makes the most correct guesses will win the Golden Ear trophy.

The premiere episode featured the first group of six singers: Sun, Giraffe, Popcorn, Dragon and Snow Owls, The Masked Singer's first duet costume. After putting up a good fight, Dragon ended up at the bottom.

Jeong thought Olympic swimmer Michael Phelps could be under the fire-breathing getup, McCarthy guessed DMX, and Scherzinger and Thicke tossed out Busta Rhymes — and they were right! When Dragon took off his mask, Grammy-nominated rapper Rhymes appeared underneath.

When asked what it was like becoming the Dragon, Rhymes said, "It's been an incredible experience. This whole outfit looking like I really am one of the most powerful and dominant characters in existence."

The star performed "Mama Said Knock You Out" by LL Cool J before saying his final goodbye.

The final showdown for the Golden Mask was between Frog, Night Angel and Turtle. Frog started things off with an energetic rendition of "Bad Boys for Life" by P. Diddy, Black Rob and Mark Curry.

Turtle went up next and delivered a cover of Lewis Capaldi's "Before You Go," and Night Angel closed things out with a powerful version of Tina Turner's hit "River Deep, Mountain High." After the judges and studio audience cast their final votes of the season, it came time for host Nick Cannon to reveal how each singer fared in the competition.

First, Cannon announced that Frog took third place and unmasked him as Bow Wow, who the panelists had suspected throughout the season. Cannon then revealed the season 3 winner — Night Angel — meaning Turtle nabbed second place.

Turtle removed his mask first, exposing pop star Jesse McCartney, another one of the judges' reoccurring guesses. The evening couldn't end without this season's champ divulging her identity, too. The much-anticipated reveal gave way to Real Housewives of Atlanta star and Xscape member Burruss. She couldn't help but shriek when Cannon noted that she was the first-ever female winner of The Masked Singer.

"For a long time, I really stopped singing by myself because you get negative feedback and so it kind of messes with your head," the mom of three told the judges after removing her purple mask. "But thank you. So I had really stopped. And I just really appreciate you guys for helping me build my confidence back."

Both Night Angel and Frog secured spots in the finale, as did Turtle for his take on the Nick Jonas hit "Jealous," which left Rhino packing after performing "Humble and Kind" by Tim McGraw.

The judges floated Jason Aldean, Trace Adkins and Blake Shelton as final takes on who might be under the massive tusk, but McCarthy and Jeong had it right with their guess of former MLB player Zito.

"I just had such a great time," the World Series-winning pitcher said before adding, "This show has stressed me in so many ways."

Frog, Kitty, Night Angel, Rhino and Turtle faced off for a slot in the final four, but it was Kitty who received the least number of votes. The panelists' guessed the feline could be Vanessa Hudgens, Anna Kendrick, Lea Michele or Ashley Tisdale, but underneath the mask was America's Got Talent star Jackie Evancho.

"I wanted to show a different side of myself," Evancho said of why she came on the show.

She also thanked the panelists after being unmasked.

"Without you, I don't think I would have discovered where I want to take my career and who I want to represent myself as in the future," she said.

Although the judges agreed that all of the singers stepped it up for the Battle of the Sixes, the Astronaut was the one to say goodbye after performing his rendition of "Story of My Life" by One Direction.

The judges threw out a few guesses as to who the Astronaut was, but it was Scherzinger who landed the correct guess with country star Hunter Hayes.

"It's been an unbelievable experience," the "I Want Crazy" singer said after taking off his disguise. "This time in my life is a great chance for me to sort of hit a reset button and to try a bunch of things that I was scared of, and this show's full of those. I've never danced properly, I've never worked on choreo. Trying new songs, trying new things with my voice, it's been incredible."

"I didn't want to exit ever! So I went in 1,000 percent," the Poison frontman told PEOPLE of his experience on the show.

Even though his rendition of "Brick House" didn't keep him in the competition, Michaels was able to celebrate a very important milestone the same night his episode aired. Ten years ago to the date, the star survived a brain hemorrhage.

"But how ironic that it is literally 10 years to the moment when the show airs, it was airing at the exact time that they were operating at night on my brain. Who knew that this would all come full circle on April 22?" he said. "On my kids' life, my life, I had no idea that any of this would line up."

As for what the star is looking forward to once people can safely leave their homes, Michaels said, "I cannot wait to go back out on the road when we are allowed and the guidelines are safe, as I am 1,000 percent in the highest risk category for this."

"I'm a hand-shaker and a hugger. I'm hoping that that light comes back around because the toughest part for me is just wanting to walk up and shake somebody's hand and see how you're doing," he continued. "I know right now we can't do that," he said, before emphasizing again that he "can't wait to get back on the road."

The model was surprised by how many of her fans had guessed she had been the Kangaroo from the start of the show.

"Every single week I see tweets about me being the Kangaroo or people commenting on my pictures with the kangaroo emoji, saying, 'Oh, I didn't know you could sing,' with the winky face, just to see if I say anything," Woods told PEOPLE, following her April 8 elimination. "I didn't even realize people would know, because I've never publicly sang. People are just smart."

When asked about why she decided to compete on the show, Wood said that it "was one of those opportunities of a lifetime where you can't pass up." She said she chose the Kangaroo fighter costume because "there's this fighter element to me."

"I went with the Kangaroo because kangaroos are strong as hell and I strive to be as strong as the Kangaroo," she said.

Even though her time on the show has come to an end, Woods has only begun showing the world that she can sing. When asked if she was going to come out with new music, the star said, "Yes, there will be an album!"

She added, "Stay tuned for when this is over," referencing the coronavirus pandemic, "and I can actually get to the studio to record the music I've made."

After weeks of hearing about the almighty Super Nine, the top three performers from Groups A, B and C finally took the stage on the show's April Fools-themed episode.

After host Nick Cannon reintroduced competitors, the White Tiger came in last from Group A and was sent home.

Judges and viewers alike had been suggesting that the former New England Patriots tight end Gronkowski was under the White Tiger costume — and they were right.

"I've always loved dancing and my dance moves were always one of a kind and I always felt like I was never on rhythm, so when I got asked to do The Masked Singer, I knew I was in. I wanted to do it," Gronk said, after performing his rendition of "I'm Too Sexy." "I wanted to learn how to sing and also I really wanted to learn how to dance."

Gronkowski went on to thank the panel for the fun experience.

"Thank you guys," he told the judges. "I enjoyed every performance in front of you guys. I love you guys so much. I'm just so thankful to be here. Legends right in front of my eyes."

The panelists' final guesses on who was wearing the opulent disguise consisted of a range of actresses including Nina Dobrev, Megan Fox, Olivia Munn, Mila Kunis and Kristen Stewart, but when the crane came off, Bella Thorne turned out to be under the feathery costume.

"Well because Ken was guessing me as the Flamingo last season and I retweeted that and that made me super excited and I just started watching the show and I thought it was so, so amazing, so dope and I was like, 'Let's do that!'" the 22-year-old singer and actress said of why she wanted to do the show. After the judges suggested Adam Carolla, Kelsey Grammer, Johnny Knoxville or Woody Harrelson, everyone was shocked to learn that the Llama was the Price Is Right host Carey.

"I love you to death," Jeong told the actor-comedian once he revealed his identity. Biggs added that he's admired the star for a "very, very, very long time."

The audience voted Robot as their least favorite performance of the night, making it time for the first unmasking of the season, which proved judge Nicole Scherzinger's theory right when Lil Wayne was revealed under the Robot mask. The studio audience and panelists alike were in shock.

"He just made this show so much cooler, right?" host Nick Cannon said following the reveal.

When asked why he picked the robot costume, the rapper said and father of four explained, "My kids, man, my kids. My kids watch the show with me and [I] know they're going to like the robot costume."

The remaining three contestants were revealed on Wednesday night (Dec. 18, 2019), but only one took home the title of the winner of season 2. The first to perform was the Fox, who incorporated an original rap into a cover of Otis Redding's "Try a Little Tenderness." Next, the Flamingo gave her all performing "Proud Mary" by Tina Turner. Then finally, the Rottweiler closed out the night with his rendition of "Alive" by Sia.

Once the performances were over, the studio audience and panelists voted for their favorite of the night and host Nick Cannon did the honors of announcing where each star placed in the competition.

The Flamingo turned out to be Adrienne Bailon, who said of her experience, "This has been life-changing. I never thought that I would love performing again. This has just been so crazy. I can't thank you guys enough. It's been the best thing I've ever done."

The Rottweiler was Chris Daughtry, who shared: "I wanted to do something fun. I wanted to challenge myself. [I] saw last year T-Pain won, I was like, aw, I just want to do this. It looks like so much fun. I had no idea how challenging it was going to be. And my kids have no idea I'm doing this so I'm so pumped for them to see this."

And the winner of season 2, the Fox, ended up being Brady.

"I wanted to tell you so much," the host, actor and Broadway star told Cannon after his reveal.

"This has been the coolest, most amazing, most touching, most challenging weirdest, this is the weirdest — and I host Let's Make a Deal," said Brady, who denied earlier in the season to PEOPLE that he was Thingamajig. "But really, I'm going to take this with me forever."

The Masked Singer will return to Fox after the Super Bowl in February. "My son Jeffrey said, 'Mommy, you should do this!'" Shepherd said after removing her penguin head. "And I said, 'I'm scared.' And he goes, 'You should just do it scared.' So I did!"

Symoné added: "I've been in the music industry and the industry for a really long time and I said, 'Oh my goodness, it would be awesome if I don't have to see anybody, they can't see me, I can be the person I am in the mirror.'"

After intense battles between Butterfly (winner) and Egg, Thingamajig (winner) and Skeleton, Ladybug and Rottweiler (winner) and Tree (winner) and Ice Cream, the final smackdown was between Ice Cream and Ladybug. Once it was time to unmask Egg and Ice Cream, audiences were shocked to find that Egg turned out to be Olympic ice skater Johnny Weir and Ice Cream was video game streamer Tyler "Ninja" Blevins.
