Stopping by PEOPLE Now, the This Is Us star opened about how shocked she was when Reese Witherspoon not only acknowledged her at a party, but admitted that she watched the show. “We were at an event for ‘Women in Television’ and Nicole Kidman walked by… after Reese Witherspoon was like, ‘We watch your show, my daughter and I,’ and I was like, ‘Man in the Moon… What? Are you kidding me right now?!’ ” Metz gushed. “Then Nicole Kidman was like, ‘Congratulations,’ ” the 36-year-old recalled in awe. “Mandy [Moore] and I were like, ‘Huh!’ It was so, so surreal.” Metz also revealed that Niecy Nash became friends with her, thanks to her hit NBC show. “She was like, ‘I love you,’ ” Metz admitted of the comedian. “Yeah, I can’t really wrap my head around that.” This Is Us airs Tuesdays (9 p.m. ET) on NBC.
