From 'Brotherly Love' to Growing Up: Where Are the Lawrence Brothers Now?

They stole our hearts in the '90s and early aughts ... so what have they been up to since?

Few brothers were as successful (and crush-worthy) as Joey, Matthew and Andrew (a.k.a. Andy) Lawrence were back in the '90s and early 2000s.

They may have pursued different acting gigs shortly after starring on the '90s sitcom Brotherly Love, but the trio continued to work together through the years. They even formed a band together aptly-titled Still Three and released their first single, "Lose Myself," in February 2017 — and proved once more that nothing is stronger than a bond shared among brothers who just get each other (and their very similar career paths.)

As we anxiously await a Brotherly Love reboot or the sequel to Mistletoe Mixup — the 2021 holiday film starring the siblings — here's what the famous brothers have been up to recently.

Where you know him from: Blossom, Melissa & Joey, Dancing with the Stars and The Masked Singer

The eldest Lawrence brother made a splash on Blossom, opposite Mayim Bialik, debuted his first solo album as a teen and made it to the top three on Dancing with the Stars in 2006 before getting eliminated. In 2009, he starred alongside Melissa Joan Hart on the ABC Family's (now Freeform) TV movie, My Fake Fiancé, which went on to become so successful it inspired a sitcom, Melissa & Joey, starring both actors. Matthew and Andrew even guest-starred on the show.

In July 2017, Joey ran into financial trouble. He and his then-wife, Chandie Yawn-Nelson, filed for bankruptcy with just $8,000 in the bank and $60 in cash after accumulating $355,517.27 worth of liabilities — including $132,000 in credit card bills, $100,000 owed for automobiles, $88,000 in back taxes, $54,000 in unpaid rent and $32,000 for an unpaid loan.

Less than a year later, in March 2018, the couple settled their case. In July 2020, Joey filed for divorce from Yawn-Nelson after nearly 15 years together. He later wed actress Samantha Cope in 2022, who he costarred with in the Lifetime movie My Husband's Secret Brother.

Joey also appeared on The Masked Singer in November 2022, later revealing to PEOPLE that he and his brothers may be working together on a new TV series.

"And believe it or not, we're in talks with Fox about the brothers and I on a brand-new show together for the first time in 15 years," Joey said. "I've been doing this 41 years and had a lot of success at NBC and ABC and CBS. Never worked for Fox, so it seemed like a logical step."

He continued, "We have been working together more and more last few years. We did a Christmas movie for Amazon called Mistletoe Mixup, and we're shooting a sequel to that right now, which will be out next Christmas for Amazon. We took a little break from doing that. And now, as grown men we're like, "Let's do this. Let's have some fun." It just felt like the right time. I think the fans have really been driving it. They've been begging us to do stuff together, and it's really neat to come back together and do this again. We're really excited about the show. We're really looking forward to it."

Where you know him from: Mrs. Doubtfire and Boy Meets World

Back in the day, Matthew made us laugh and swoon on Boy Meets World, where he played Shawn Hunter's (Rider Strong) big brother, Jack Hunter. Since then, the actor snagged a role in Mrs. Doubtfire, The Hot Chick and even reprised his BMW role on the show's reboot, Girl Meets World, in 2015.

Lawrence tied the knot with Dancing with the Stars pro Cheryl Burke in May 2019, but Burke filed for divorce in February 2022. Their divorce was finalized in September 2022, but the two are headed to court in 2023 over custody of their dog, Ysabella.

Where you know him from: Recess, The Other Me and Hawaii Five-0

The youngest Lawrence brother started as an actor, just like his siblings. Aside from focusing on his music career and starring on Brotherly Love, Andy also appeared in the Disney movie The Other Me and Hawaii Five-0. Big Recess fans will also recognize the star's voice as that of T.J. Detweiler. He was also featured in 2019's Better Than Love with brother Matthew.
