Kate Middleton and Prince William's three children joined the royal family on Monday for their traditional Christmas Day church outing. Each year, the royals attend the service at the Church of St. Mary Magdalene in Norfolk. The Prince and Princess of Wales' family coordinated in green and blue for this year's event, with Charlotte rocking a shade of forest green similar to Kate's outfit last year for the holiday. Josh Shinner See the Best Photos of the Royal Family's 2023 Christmas Outing This year marked the second time that George, Charlotte and Louis all attended the Christmas event. Prince George and Princess Charlotte made their Christmas debut in Sandringham back in 2019. While COVID-19 pandemic precautions forced the royals to celebrate the holiday without the normal festivities in 2020 and 2021, Prince Louis joined his family for the first time last year. Now pros at royal events, Prince William and Princess Kate's children got in the Christmas spirit earlier this month while attending their mom's third annual Christmas carol concert at Westminster Abbey. Before making their way inside the venue, the trio of siblings walked over to a red mailbox and placed envelopes inside. This year, children were encouraged to send homemade Christmas cards to other kids who might be struggling this year. According to royal reporter Rebecca English, George, Charlotte and Louis all wrote their own cards. The British royal family traditionally gathers at Sandringham for Christmas. On December 24, they have afternoon tea before exchanging inexpensive gag gifts. After their church outing on Christmas Day, the family heads back to Sandringham House for a traditional feast of turkey before watching the monarch's Christmas speech broadcast on TV. "For me, generally, bringing the family together at Christmastime is always lovely because we're quite spread out doing our things a lot of time throughout the year. We get very few moments to actually come together," the Prince of Wales said. "When I see my children meet up with my cousin's children, and they all have a wonderful time playing together, it's very special. I look forward to that a lot."
