After the exes broke off their engagement on season 6 of the Netflix dating show, they’ve gotten a lot closer. "Her and I are great friends to this day and I'm very thankful she's still in my life," Jimmy told E! News. "We both got each other's back more than anybody. No one knows what we went through more than we do." He added, "We've been leaning on each other a lot." The pair seemed cozied up at the club, though they have not implied their relationship has returned to a romantic state. On Love Is Blind, Chelsea was prepared to walk down the aisle. After an amusement park date, that all changed and she left with a broken heart. Jimmy revealed he wasn’t ready to say “I do” after the pair’s previous arguments, which revolved around his social habits and close female friends. It was completely out of left field,” she told PEOPLE of Jimmy’s decision to end the social experiment before reaching the altar. “We were in such a good spot going into that date that I was just over the moon, and so in love. We did so much work on our relationship and we were just in the most amazing spot we could have been in, I thought.” Chelsea also confirmed to PEOPLE she did attempt a romantic reconciliation with Jimmy after their split, though that reconnection only lasted a few days.
