Linda Evangelista Makes Rare Appearance with Son Augustin, 17, as They Pose Together at New York City Event

Linda Evangelista stepped out in New York City with a special guest this week.

The supermodel, 58, was photographed attending the 2024 Groundbreaker Awards Dinner during Design on a Dime 2024, posing with her 17-year-old son Augustin. Evangelista wore a partly sheer black button-up tucked into a black skirt and held hands with her teenager son.

Augustin gave a soft smile as he stood next to Mom, wearing a fitted suit and white shirt.

Evangelista shares her son with ex François-Henri Pinault.

In September, Evangelista walked the red carpet at the second annual Caring for Women Dinner with her son. Augustin's father and his wife, Salma Hayek Pinault, were co-chairs of the event.

The mom and son duo wore coordinating black dress suits, making the outing a sweet family moment as they posed for photos together. Augustin wore his blazer buttoned up, while Evangelista opted to wear hers open and showcased her formal white shirt.

In a February 2022 interview with PEOPLE, Evangelista revealed that Augustin was someone who gave her the strength to share her experience with CoolSculpting, a fat-freezing body contouring procedure.

"It is very important for me to raise him knowing that he is beautiful and knowing that everyone is beautiful," she said. "It's so messed up that I truly believe that, except it doesn't pertain to me."

Although the two are very close, Evangelista shared in a 2013 interview with Harper's Bazaar that she and her son don't share a common love of fashion.

"Let's just say I have a child who doesn't like fashion," she told the outlet at the time. "He wants jerseys. We watch sports and go to games. I do boy things now."
