Gypsy Rose Blanchard is celebrating the chance to spend time with her family.

In an Instagram video posted on Sunday in collaboration with the Lifetime network, the 32-year-old filmed herself wishing her followers a happy New Year's Eve. Gypsy, who was released from prison last week, is set to share her story in the upcoming Lifetime docuseries The Prison Confessions of Gypsy Rose Blanchard.

In Sunday's video, Gypsy expressed how excited she was to spend New Year's Eve with her family. “So, we’re looking to ring in the new year together. It’s going to be really awesome to have some family time after so long,” she said.

She explained that she was celebrating the start of 2024 with her father, Rod Blanchard, her stepmom Kristy and her husband, Ryan Anderson.

After revealing her New Year’s Eve plans, Gypsy later posted a photo of her and her husband sharing their midnight kiss.

“New Year's Eve kiss with my hubby,” she captioned the image.

The recent holiday posts followed several TikTok videos and Instagram photos that showed Gypsy with family and friends celebrating her homecoming.

Gypsy was released early from prison on Thursday after serving eight years of a 10-year sentence. In 2016, she pleaded guilty to the second-degree murder of her mother, Dee Dee Blanchard. Her then-boyfriend Nicholas "Nick" Godejohn, with whom she plotted, was convicted of first-degree murder and was sentenced to life in prison.

Dee Dee subjected Gypsy to unnecessary medical treatment, and convinced her daughter and others that Gypsy had a litany of illnesses as a child. In court, it was argued that Gypsy was a victim of Munchausen syndrome by proxy.

The day after her release, Gypsy posted her first “freedom” selfie. Since then, she has shared several photos with her family including one showing Gypsy and her stepsister, Mia Blanchard, posing together in front of balloons that read, “Welcome Home.”

Gypsy revealed in an exclusive interview with PEOPLE before her release that she would change the past if she could.

"If I had another chance to redo everything, I don't know if I would go back to when I was a child and tell my aunts and uncles that I'm not sick and mommy makes me sick, or, if I would travel back to just the point of that conversation with Nick and tell him, 'You know what, I'm going to go tell the police everything,'" she said. "I kind of struggle with that."

However, she also clarified, "Nobody will ever hear me say I'm glad she's dead or I'm proud of what I did. I regret it every single day."
