Christine Quinn’s husband Christian Richard has been arrested for the second time this week.

The Selling Sunset alum’s husband was taken into custody on Wednesday night after he allegedly violated an emergency protective order, the LAPD confirmed to PEOPLE. The filing comes after Richard, whose legal last name is Dumontet, was arrested on Tuesday in connection with a domestic violence incident involving their son.

The Los Angeles Police Department confirmed to PEOPLE, “Last night at approximately 11:40 p.m. our Hollywood officers responded to a radio call. The suspect, Dumontet, Christian, was arrested for violation of a restraining order.”

On Wednesday, the LAPD shared the details of Richard’s prior arrest, in which officers responded to their residence around 2 p.m. local time on March 19 for a domestic issue.

“Victim and suspect were involved in a domestic dispute,” the public information officer told PEOPLE. “The suspect threw a bag containing a glass bottle at the victim, missed the victim, but the object hit the victim’s child causing injury,” the officer alleged.

Richard was then charged with assault with a “deadly weapon,” and their son, Christian Georges Dumontet, was treated by paramedics.

The couple welcomed Christian, their first and only child together, in May 2021 and have been married since December 2019

They met after Quinn wrapped filming for the first season of Selling Sunset, on which she was a series regular until season 5. Richard made a few cameos when his wife was still a cast member on the Netflix real estate docudrama and viewers got to see a glimpse of their relationship.

While appearing alongside his wife, he didn’t use his real last name, Dumontet, and instead went by Richard for “privacy reasons,” according to a Netflix representative.

Quinn previously spoke about her husband’s preference to stay out of the spotlight during a 2020 interview with Bustle.

"He's the opposite of me in every way, because I love to put myself out there. I love to be fabulous. He doesn't care about dressing up or looking good. He doesn't care about any of that stuff. He only cares about his work and traveling," she told the outlet.

In May 2022, Quinn revealed to PEOPLE that she and her husband were now business partners after teaming up to launch their crypto real estate venture, RealOpen. She departed the Oppenheim Group, the agency around which Selling Sunset is based, in order to pursue the business venture.
