People Editorial Guidelines Updated on December 2, 2020 12:31AM EST Photo: Getty After Ciara‘s ex-fiancé Future blasted her on Twitter Tuesday claiming she is preventing the rapper from seeing their 19-month-old son Future Zahir, a source close to the singer tells PEOPLE the claims are not true. “Ciara has said that Future uses the situation to promote his music by staying in the press using her name,” says the source. In a series of Tweets, Future, 32, called Ciara a “bitch” with “control problems” who forced him to “go through lawyers to see babyfuture,” adding that he pays his ex “15k a month.” “He does not nor has he ever paid $15,000 in child support. It’s just not true,” says the source. “Ciara has never prevented him from seeing his child.” The Grammy winning singer has been dating Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson since last spring, and the new relationship may have a role in Future’s ill will towards her, says the source. “He is jealous she has moved on and is happy. He is unable to move on and co-parent in a healthy way. Future has told her he hopes she fails in everything she does and that’s just being evil.” A rep for Ciara declined to comment and a rep for Future has not responded to a request for comment.
