Lifestyle Home Ben Napier Channels Indiana Jones in Reno that Feels Like ‘Tunnel of Doom’ in Home Town Sneak Peek (Exclusive) Erin previously revealed her dad bears a striking resemblance to "Indy" and dresses up as him for Halloween each year By Erin Clements Published on February 24, 2024 11:15AM EST Erin and Ben Napier tackle a major demolition in Sunday’s Home Town — and it has Ben feeling like a certain action hero. In an exclusive sneak peek of the episode, Ben proclaims “Indiana Jones is back!” as he tears down the walls of the house they're renovating. “Indiana Jones, what is he?” Ben asks. “Temple of Doom,” Erin explains, referring to the second installment of Steven Spielberg’s adventure series, released in 1984. Ben then compares the hollowed-out home they’re in to a “tunnel of doom.” “Y’all ready to tear the back of this house off?” Erin asks, to which Ben makes a honking sound. Ben and Erin Napier. HGTV Erin explains that the addition they’re tearing down was “just done poorly,” so they’re starting completely fresh with the renovation and ripping off “the rotten part.” She adds that they’re planning to build a “massive pink palace” on the back of the house for their clients, an aunt and her great niece. The two relatives are seeking their mutual dream home, but don't agree on much. “At least we don’t have to worry about opening up the walls and finding termites, because everything goes,” Erin observes.
