Ariana Greenblatt Is Giving Y2K Barbie Vibes in New Coach Campaign: Exclusive Photos

Ariana Greenblatt is joining the Coach family — and she brought her Barbie vibes with her!

The Barbie actress is the star of Coach's newest Coachtopia campaign, and she's rocking bubblegum pink hair, which would feel right at home in Barbieland. It also feels right at home in the Coachtopia realm, which is a dream world of colors and creations.

Coachtopia, which is Coach's sub-brand that focuses on using recycled materials to create new (and often whimsical!) products, just launched its new campaign for spring, and it finds Greenblatt, 16, juggling armfulls of pastel bags, cherry-print bags and more pattern-covered bags while decked out in a Y2K-inspired look of knee-high socks, a baby tee, miniskirt and, of course, a best friends necklace. We also can't forget those heart-shaped cat-eye sunglasses!

Greenblatt also wears a full denim 'fit for the shoot that is the most exceptional Canadian tuxedo and is paired perfectly with a purple Coachtopia bag to match the purple sky and clouds in the backdrop. She cycles through the bags for the photos, showing off each one throughout the shoot (even biting the handles to get extra cutesy).

Another outfit sees her in an oversize hoodie and jeans that is both fashion and function — the look could easily be an at-home couch potato 'fit but would also be a serve as a street style look. For Greenblatt, she makes it look effortless.

Coach and Greenblatt also brought PEOPLE behind the scenes of her shoot while she got ready for the day. She had her glam team at the ready: Ricky Fraser was in charge of getting her cotton candy hair in shape, Jennifer Tioseco gave her the perfect Y2K makeup look and stylist Molly Dickson made sure Greenblatt's outfit perfectly coordinated with the colorful bags in the shoot.

All of the exclusive photos showcase just how cheeky the actress got behind the scenes during her day on set — from playing with the cherries from the cherry-print bag set to posing for kissy-face photos while her hairstylist worked on her hair.

And while Greenblatt definitely had a blast in this colorful Coachtopia world, she shared in a press release that the sustainability of the collection is what means the most to her about partnering with the brand on this specific line.

"I’m excited to be a part of something that’s better for our environment,” Greenblatt shared of the collaboration in a press release. “What Coachtopia is doing is incredible and I think a lot of people are going to want to join it. They are at the forefront of this movement with their innovative designs and I’m just happy to be a part of this.”

Greenblatt and the brand both shared the campaign video on Instagram, joking about the actress' love of neutral (read: black) clothing and how this is a rare step outside of her comfort zone and into bright colors.

The products in Coachtopia's newest campaign, as with all Coachtopia products, feature new releases as well as new iterations of previous releases. The collection includes bags, clothes and accessories made with recycled PET plastic (aka polyester), recycled and repurposed leather and scraps and more materials that focus on sustainability.
