Anderson Cooper's son has his mind set on one very specific present this Christmas.

On this week's episode of the All There Is with Anderson Cooper podcast, the journalist, 56, shared that his 3-year-old son Wyatt made a list of all the presents he wants from Santa Claus this year, which included one unconventional ask from the toddler.

"This is the first Christmas Wyatt is really excited about," Cooper said. "He's nearly 4 and has fully woken up to the fact that Santa brings gifts, reindeer land on roofs, and Jingle Bells is a song he can sing all day long."

"He wants a toy car, two candy canes, a rainbow, a pillow and knees. For the record, he has two knees that seem to work just fine but apparently, he wants some back-ups. It was late and we decided to decorate the tree the following morning. When I put Wyatt to bed, he was so excited."

Earlier this month, Cooper revealed that his son Wyatt had once again lost his beloved stuff animal, Brown Bear. Appearing on Live with Kelly & Mark, the dad of two said that they were on the hunt for the missing teddy.

"I'm embarrassed to even say. Benjamin took Wyatt to Paris to see some relatives and he brought Bear and Bear didn't come back," Cooper said, referencing his friend and co-parent Benjamin Maisani. "Bear has gone global, somewhere walking around Paris."

Referencing the last time that Brown Bear went missing, Cooper said that for all he knew, the stuffed animal may be still in the car.

"The last time we had this whole international hunt for this bear and it turned out to be under the front seat of the car where of course it was because that's where it was last seen."

Asked how his son has been taking the news of his missing friend, Cooper told co-hosts Kelly Ripa and Mark Consuelos that Wyatt "hasn't noticed...yet."

"Because of the sleuths on your staff and the global search that occurred before, I have two versions of the same bear."

Although Brown Bear might still be missing, Wyatt has plenty of other toys to play with, including some of Cooper's own from when he was a child. Speaking with PEOPLE for a cover story in September, the journalist revealed that his sons had received some toys that he and his late brother used to play with.

“I recently found wooden blocks that my brother and I played with,” said Cooper. “That was a big toy for us.”

“They’ve got all these markings on them—we drew robots on them and stuff,” he continued. “And so now to see Wyatt playing with those and building things, it's crazy.”

Sebastian, for his part, uses a box that Cooper made in the first grade. “I remember making this box. And now Sebastian has it and puts books in it and stuff,” he said.

“It’s lovely to see this cycle of life and of love and how all these things sort of repeat,” Cooper added. “They are playing the same games I played as a kid and inventing new games. And I just have this incredible sense of wonder about that and witnessing that up close.”
