In an exclusive conversation with PEOPLE tied to his partnership with Lysol, the former New York Yankees player, 48, opens up about working with his MLB on Fox costars — host Kevin Burkhardt and analysts David Ortiz and Derek Jeter. When asked if he likes to play pranks on the trio while they are working together on the program — which the group takes part in during special MLB events — Rodriguez laughs and admits, "Always." "We're always having laughs," he adds. "I mean, it really feels like we're a bunch of teenagers having fun, watching baseball and celebrating the game." Baseball had a phenomenal year last year." "The industry grew 12%, which is a giant number. ... I think the consensus was with baseball that it was kind of flat, but it had a really nice year," he continues. "The numbers were up in attendance and viewership." Noting that he, of course, is "excited to see how the Yankees play this year," Rodriguez further details, "I'm excited to see how the combination of Aaron Judge and Juan Soto together in the lineup." He adds, "I'm also excited to see what the Dodgers do, and then I think the two teams in Texas cannot be ignored."
