According to a press release issued by the Marin County Sheriff's Office Thursday night, Mint is a "voluntary missing person."

Mint's mother, Caterina Fake, reported the teen missing after she discovered a note Monday morning indicating Mint had left.

"It is unclear how Mint left the area, as they did not have access to a vehicle, or phone," the sheriff's press release stated. "At this time, we have no information to believe that Mint was taken against their will. The Sheriff’s Office is considering Mint a voluntary-missing juvenile, who is “At- Risk” due to a reported previous threat of suicide."

Based on statements from Fake, authorities believe Mint may have traveled to the Tenderloin District of San Francisco. Officials told the San Francisco Standard that Mint "has a history of substance abuse and is known to frequent the Tenderloin." The neighborhood is located about 30 miles from where Mint was last seen in Bolinas.

Fake and Mint also have a residence in San Francisco, but the sheriff's press release did not specify where.

As of Thursday night, the combined efforts of Marin County Sheriffs and the San Francisco Police Department to locate Mint have not been successful, per the press release.

Although he left Slack in 2022, the business magazine estimates Stewart's personal wealth to be $1.6 billion.
