Mandy Moore, Sterling K. Brown and Chris Sullivan are reliving the tears and triumphs of the Pearson family.

The trio announced they are launching a This Is Us rewatch podcast, aptly titled, That Was Us, in May.

“It feels so good to be back in the wagoneer,” Moore, who starred as matriarch Rebecca Pearson, says in the clip shared on Instagram. Brown, who portrayed Moore’s onscreen son Randall, pops up in the passenger seat and adds, “I’m thinking, maybe we should go do a podcast. What do you think, bud?”

“Let’s do it,” Sullivan, who played Toby Damon, responds. “Let’s go!”

The group then drives off in the car which is adorned with a “TIU” license plate, an abbreviation for the hit NBC series.

“We are SO excited to finally announce that we (big) three are taking back Tuesdays and bringing #ThisIsUs back by way of a rewatch podcast called #ThatWasUs, starting May 14th!” the caption read.

“The Pearson’s story may have ended after six seasons, but our stories continue on,” the message continued. “For six seasons and 106 episodes, Tuesdays brought us together with tissues in one hand and pantry wine in the other. Why? Because we see ourselves in the fabric of their lives. We may or may not have cried at least once every episode, but let’s just say our tears served as emotional catharsis…”

“Sibling rivalry, body issues, marriage, divorce, adoption, love, blending families, terminal illness, death, miscarriage, racism, and substance abuse are right here in our backyard, just as they were for the Pearsons,” the caption concluded. “So what we’d like to do is really dig in and dig deep. We’ll break down each episode, bring on some very special guests, have the tough conversations and maybe do some collective healing along the way??❤️ ❤️ ❤️”

The trio followed up the announcement with another post encouraging fans to get involved with the new podcast.

“We really want to incorporate all of you into the podcast so please feel free to send us a story, ask us a question, anything,” Moore, 40, shared. “We want to hear from you so please send us an email…so we can hear from you and so you can be a part of us telling the story of That Was Us.”

“We share the #ThatWasUs podcast with you.❤️,” the caption read. “Every episode will include YOU, so tell us your stories, share what #ThisIsUs means to you, and let us know what you want to hear: thatwasuspod@gmail.com.”

In another Instagram post, Moore, Sullivan and Brown shared their excitement to relive the show’s biggest moments with their fans.

“We are so excited to be back with That Was Us podcast every Tuesday to relive the show,” Sullivan, 43, shared and Moore added, “All together.”

“We’re gonna have guests…we’re gonna have you guys giving us your feedback about the things you want to hear about so it’s gonna be a collective experience,” Brown, 48, chimed in. “So, please join us for the That Was Us podcast.”

Ahead of the announcement, the group teased a project was in the works with each star sharing personal childhood memories on the That Was Us Instagram page.

This Is Us aired on NBC from Sept. 2016 to May 2022. The family drama centered on the lives of siblings Kevin (Justin Hartley), Kate (Chrissy Metz) and Randall (Brown) and their parents Rebecca (Moore) and Jack (Milo Ventimiglia). The series used multiple timelines, showing stories that took place in the present as well as flashbacks to the siblings’ childhood and flash-forwards to later years.

The NBC drama earned numerous accolades throughout its run. It received 39 Emmy nominations, winning four. Additionally, it also received the Television Academy Honors Award in 2017.

Moore opened up to PEOPLE in July about her bond with the cast, noting that they still have a strong connection to this day — so much so that they even consider each other "family."

“The cast is absolutely in touch,” she shared at the time. “A bunch of us just had dinner a few weeks ago … they’re going to be my forever family. I love them deeply.”

Moore noted the cast still have a group chat that’s "always going.” She also called Huertas — who played Miguel Rivas and Sullivan — the funniest members in the active chat.
