Responsibilities

- Responsible for the creation and evolution of highly scalable applications, including design, development, and quality.
- Work with engineers, program managers, partner teams and end customers to deliver a set of features with the right overall design and architecture.
- Own and deliver complete features, including design, architecture, implementation, testability, debugging, and shipping.
- Accountability for customer satisfaction and actual business results.
- Technically lead other less experienced team members
- Be committed and accountable to delivering the best experience for our customers.
- You must be self-driven, curious to learn, proactive, and result-oriented.
- Participate in code and design review process and promote engineering excellence and best practices
- Work across teams in Microsoft Sentinel, Defender and in other geographies like Israel, United States to drive Sentinel solutions.
- Participate in periodic on-call rotations to handle service incidents, incident postmortem etc.
- Help create a diverse and inclusive culture where everyone can bring their full and authentic self and where we do our best work as a result.
- Mentoring junior engineers in the team.
Required Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 6+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to C#, Python, JavaScript/TypeScript, React, HTML CSS OR equivalent experience.
- 3+ years of experience driving, managing technical and architectural dependencies.
- Proven written and verbal communication skills.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn, share and improve.
- Excels and enjoys at creating clarity, generating energy, and delivering results.
- Software development experience with Front End and Back End development technologies.
- Good cross team, cross geolocation collaboration skills.
- Excellent problem solving, analytical and debugging skills.
- Hands-on experience building Azure-based services with Azure Resource Manager (ARM), ARM templates, ARM policy, IaaS, Function app, Logic apps, App services, KeyVault, Azure Active Directory (AAD) etc.
