Cisco Network Engineer

Mandatory skill set:

· Ability to troubleshoot and upgrade Cisco/Juniper routers, Cisco/Juniper Switches, Cisco/ Palo Alto/ Juniper/NetScaler Firewalls and F5/Citrix/A10 Load Balancers

· Ability and skilled to perform router/switch network hardware/software upgrades

· Hands on experience in Routing Protocol Development (BGP, OSPF, VPN and Static.), providing IP Addressing Strategy - NAT, Re-Addressing, WAN - IP Routed Network Integration & Wireless LAN technologies

· Experience with LAN routing, switching, Security , Voice, and Wireless LAN products

· Knowledge of network protocols VPN, OSPF, BGP, TCP/IP

· Knowledge of Cisco Nexus and Datacenter support

· Experience and hands on with Cisco ACS/ Cisco Prime/ Public DNS services

· Providing Network Engineering services in support of the large enterprise customer data networks

· Excellent written and verbal communications skills are essential

· Proven analytic skills and the ability to isolate and resolve complex issues

· Expertise in Cisco/Genesys Voice

Good to have:

· Hands on experience in configuring and troubleshooting Network devices, Cisco routers, Switches, Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers

· Cisco CCNP certification, Juniper Certification /Palo Alto/F5 or higher certification a plus

· Experience and hands on with Cisco ACS/ Cisco Prime/ Public DNS services

· Exposure, experience in working in a Cloud environment, knowing AWS, Azure or Google cloud from a Network perspective

· Data and Video Network exposure

Preferred Tool Knowledge:

· Solarwinds

· Riverbed

· OpenNMS

· Any other relevant Networking tools for performance analysis

· InfoBlox/NetMRI

· Wireshark

· Cisco DNA

Major RESPONSIBILITIES:

· Hands on experience on Cisco routers, Switches, Firewalls and F5 Load Balancers upgrade and troubleshooting

Investigate, design, plan, and implement physical and logical communications network
