Who should apply?
Candidates should have the following background:
ACA or CFA qualified
Newly qualified accountant with a minimum 0-4 years’ post qualification experience in Transaction Services or Corporate Finance in a Big 4 firm
Finance background coming from an Investment Bank or Corporate Finance House
Excellent commercial and financial analytical skills with a focus on development and maintenance of financial models
Strong communication skills to be able to deal with executive level management and non-finance functions
An ability to work under pressure, while having the flexibility to operate through various scenarios and disciplines
Strong academic track record
Role and Reporting Lines
Working as part of the Corporate Finance and Planning team, the role will involve Strategic Planning, Corporate Finance/ Valuations, and M&A/ Divestment processes. Duties include:
Developing integrated projections
Scenario analysis
Profit improvement initiatives
Capital allocation strategies
Design and implementation of financial planning tools and systems
Valuations
Assessing the key financial impacts of large deals Evaluation of potential corporate development opportunities
Liaising with Investment Banks
Liaising with 3rd party advisors on both buy-side and sell-side transactions
Working with other deal team members across workstreams on live transactions
Development and review of detailed financial models for transaction analysis
Reviewing investment proposal opportunities for medium and large transactions
Preparing detailed post acquisition integration plans and business plans
