About The Job

We are looking to hire an in-house Paralegal to be based in Hong Kong ideally (Singapore may be considered) who will support the team focusing on our Singapore and Hong Kong markets.

Working in an exciting, international, and fast-paced work environment, you will get the opportunity to enhance your legal skills and learn how a technology company in the consumer financial space operates.

The Junior Paralegal Will Be Responsible For

• Preparing and reviewing standard legal commercial documents including marketing and promotional materials.
• Assisting with contract lifecycle management and keeping internal template documents up to date with MoneyHero Group’s changing business requirements and internal policies.
• Supporting senior lawyers to review proposals for business projects and obtaining information from relevant internal stakeholders to assess the proposal.
• Liaising with internal business partners across various MoneyHero Group brands to help with ad hoc legal and compliance queries (e.g. engagement of contractors, data protection, financial regulation, corporate governance).
• Assisting with regulatory matters such as licensing and periodic regulatory filings.

In This Role, We Are Looking For Someone With

• Legal academic qualifications (hold an undergraduate law degree at minimum).
• 2+ years’ experience in a similar legal support role (paralegal / legal executive either in private practice or in-house, preferably with experience in a corporate or transactions team).
• Excellent communication and drafting skills.
• Business level of fluency in spoken and written English.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively in a team setting and autonomously.

Good To Have

• Technology and/or insurance industry experience.
• Chinese reading/writing skills are not required but advantageous.
