In-House Counsel (up to 80k)
Responsiblities:
- Offer comprehensive legal support and services encompassing participation in mergers and acquisitions and other commercial transactions, as well as ad hoc business development and investment projects.
- Aid in the preparation, review, and vetting of contracts and other legal documents.
- Provide consultation and advice on legal research to the president, including the examination of business cooperation contracts, intellectual property and compliance matters, and execute internal control and risk management tasks as required.
- Possess considerable expertise in managing the company's daily operations and providing legal guidance and solutions, particularly in the realm of food supply chain.
- Prioritize investment decisions and development strategies in sectors such as catering retail and environmental protection technology.
- Assist in filing and reporting obligations in various jurisdictions.
- Assist in the management of litigation and legal disputes.
- Proficiency in handling legal cases related to deals in the People's Republic of China (PRC) would be a definite advantage.
Requirements:
- Hold a law degree.
- Possess a valid PRC Legal professional qualification certificate, with a minimum of 5 years of experience as an in-house legal counsel.
- Strong expertise in private equity, mergers and acquisitions, securities, or corporate finance transactions is crucial.
- In-depth knowledge of PRC regulations is mandatory.
- Familiarity with the Main Board Listing Rules and other compliance regulations in both Hong Kong and PRC jurisdictions is necessary.
