Network and device compatibility

To connect Google Pixel Watch, you need a compatible Android phone with Android OS version 8.0 or newer (9.0 or newer for Google Pixel Watch 2). iOS phones are currently not supported.¹

Note: If you're in a supported country, using a supported carrier, and can't find the Google Pixel Watch app, check your Google Play Store account to confirm that the address on file is a supported country or region.

LTE cellular connection

The Google Pixel Watch 4G LTE option for both Pixel Watch and Pixel Watch 2 is unlocked at the time of purchase so you can activate it with a compatible carrier.

Important: Both your Google Pixel Watch and phone must use the same carrier for the LTE connection to work.

If you choose to activate a 4G LTE plan for your Google Pixel Watch LTE, your watch should connect directly to your mobile carrier. Stream music, make and receive calls and text messages, and contact emergency services without your paired phone nearby.

Safety Signal is only available in the United States, Canada, United Kingdom, and Germany for Google Pixel Watch 2 4G LTE.
