English Teacher (ESL) - Remote

Open English is searching for English speakers with 1+ year(s) of ESL teaching experience to provide academic services for beginner to advanced students from the comfort of their own home. Academic Specialists enjoy part-time, hourly schedules and work is done virtually.

Responsibilities:

Deliver high quality, English language instruction in private, group or cohort specialty live class sessions through our learning platforms (audio/video based).

Employ the OE curriculum, online pedagogy and teaching methodology to provide individual feedback to students after each class.

Requirements:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year prior experience teaching English as a second language.
• Holds a TESOL, TEFL, CELTA or equivalent or a Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
• Conversational or above Spanish.
• Must provide ten (10) hours minimum of availability each week.
• Must have a reliable, high-speed (at least 2Mbps) internet connection.
• Must have a webcam and headset with microphone.
• Must pass background check.
