💼 Position: Chief Legal Officer

💰 Salary Range: Competitive

📍 Location: Germany (hybrid or remote possible)

My clients are FinTechs and Banks that are looking for a Chief Legal Officer. This position is currently on hold. Apply to be considered immediately for future opportunities.

Main Tasks:

• Lead the legal department and oversee all legal aspects of the company.
• Advise the executive team and board on all legal matters, including corporate governance, intellectual property, and compliance issues.
• Develop and lead corporate legal strategy to promote and protect the company's matters.
• Manage the legal aspects of all business transactions, including negotiations, contracts, and partnerships.
• Ensure compliance with all local, national, and international laws affecting the company.

Profile:

• Proven experience as a Chief Legal Officer or similar leadership role in a legal department.
• Comprehensive understanding of the legal challenges in the technology sector, including intellectual property, data protection, AML, KYC, CDD and international business operations.
• Strong ability to strategize and solve complex legal issues.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and influence high-level stakeholders.
• Law degree from an accredited institution; additional qualifications in business administration or a related field are a plus.
