Up until now I've only used AI for my work as part of the creative tools from Adobe. In my observation often times the result is either superb or a great flop. "Enhance" has helped me save tons of audio editing time, yet there are times that the AI can't "hear" the speech well, or if the audio file is very compressed (Teams or Zoom meeting), that messes up with the AI's ability to process it. I've dabbled in generative fill when editing images in Photoshop and oftentimes I can't create a prompt that looks like what I imagine the end result to be. I've had greater success with the generate fill feature, feeding from parts of the image. In my mind AI is a convenient tool to automate tedious tasks, rather than leading my creative process.
