KB has in Europe 8 Production locations. Main tasks of the production / operations controlling:


Actuals:

  • Analyze the monthly cost picture based on GMR (SAP based BI tool)
  • Define the comparison base (target) against actual values
  • Hold one meeting per month with each production location
  • Understand the monthly cost picture based on discussions
  • Report the monthly cost versus Budget / Target

Budget:

  • Process owner of the target setting process = top-down budget process
  • Define productivity target together with Central SCM and Central IE
  • Drive own production sales process
  • Calculate mix and volume impacts for a proper projection

Other

  • Be the business partner of central Industrial Engineering
  • Be the partner and challenger of the plants at the same time
  • Participate in the “plant scorecard meeting” held by central industrial engineering each month and review and explain the plant performance to disciplines other than finance
  • Understanding and monitoring of new projects and relocation activities
  • Monitor productivity targets of plants in the “Strong Focus” tool


REQUIREMENTS:

  • Education: Financial / Technical studies at university
  • Work Experience: Several years of experience in operations controlling - ideally the candidate has worked in a production plant and has deep understanding of finance in production plants
  • Knowledge of flex rates, fixed and variable cost, standard costing, production minutes, direct / indirect labor, vacation accruals, warehousing, production, maintenance, quality
  • Languages: English - daily communication
  • Personality: Person needs to be able to talk and discuss with plant management regarding all financial topics and be self-confident
