Unable to login now to Fitbit from Fitdays

The weight scale app Fitdays has a Fitbit integration.  It has been working well for me for 3 years. It has recently stopped working. When I try to re-integrate the 2 via Fitdays using my Fitbit Google account the Google page says I can't login from an incompatible browser or unknown app.  Why has it stopped working in the app? It is really frustrating and I have spent several hours trying to fix it. Come on Fitbit/Google, we deserve better!

This is driving me bananas. The more annoying thing is I never unsynced the apps they unsynced on their own. So since they unsynced it wants me to log in again. Which I can't do because I'm getting the stupid error message. First world problems, but still.

Hello @Frus-trated are you using the Fitdays app to connect to fitbit? Does the steps open up your web browser? It looks like Google is texting bad info on your browser type.

I have a similar issue between my Fitbit and Fitdays. I use Fitdays to sync my scale to my Fitbit. Then one day Google/Fitbit unsynced the scale. I was given instructions to reconnect the scale but it doesn't work. Right now I'm manually inputting the data. This push to Google only products is making me want to walk away from Fitbit.

I found a fix for this that worked for me :

Go to fitbit app, settings, applications, I then revoked access to the Fitdays app (previously set up with non google account), then go over to fitdays app and retry to log in and I didn't get the error message this time.

It worked for me, hope it works for you!

Think it must be an issues where the previous app log in just needs booting off and the Google log in adding in.

Not really clear though on either app that this needs reconnecting.

@Emilyrosejohnso in general, with third party apps, those two steps are the only two steps available to us, when syncing to a third party doesn't work. However, the OP was having browser issue compatibility
