    Hello everyone!

I would like to announce that the redesigned Fitbit app starts rolling out today! This new app will help you reach your goals, and bring the health and wellness information right on hand.

Check out our latest blog for how to get the most out of the new app.

Note: Please be patient if you don't see the update right away, as it will take some time to roll out completely.

    Happy stepping!

That means the team deleted it on ourpose ?

Why would they think that is an improvement ?

This update did fix one of my problems.  I hope other updates will fix others.

I downloaded ver 3.88 (last update before changes) from up to down.com. Make sure and turn off auto updates... Still working 10/18/23.

After a month and a lot of unhappy customers, are you going to change the layout? Or at least allow your customers to customise the app so it functions like it did before? This is really poor and has made my decision for me not to continue with Fitbit when my watch is due an upgrade.

The app shows 15 minutes of swimming today. I put away a few tools in my shed...

    Double post, sorry

I really hope that you will reconsider the old app. It worked great and clearly others agree! The new one is very difficult to navigate, I cannot see all of my metrics at a glance, and so it is not as useful. I am extremely disappointed! I will have to consider using another product if this is not more user-friendly.  This is a huge step backwards know it’s an improvement. Please listen to your users!

New app is a joke. They removed info on the battery level. I mean, have they gone nuts or what is wrong with the fitbit team?!?!?

Very poor app design, my run tracking doesn't work and there are hundreds of not thousands of upset customers, including me. Who designed this very unattractive poorly-performing update?  I'll be looking at Garmin alternatives.

My app showed 4 flights of stairs this morning. I live on a single level
and just woke up, walked from the bedroom to the kitchen and back. I'm
    loosing confidence in Fitbit.

I live in a 3 story house, and walk a lot up and down, in an energetic way. More than half of the time Fitbit doesn't register my flight of stairs at all.

Ye,s I understand. It happens to me too. Fit-bit is mean't to pick up motions from the movement of your wrist. Swing your arm and see how many steps you get. But, that's cheating:)
If you don't put it in a different movement mode it is very incorrect. When I rode my bike 36 miles it show 8.7. When I ran a 10K which id 6.2 miles it showed 3.7 miles. It's really hard to change into those modes and back, so I take what I get. I did two hours of yard work yesterday and ended us with over 22,000 steps? Lots of flaws!

I would like to let you know that my heart rate counts are not accurate. The day before the update it was accurate. I walk at least 4 days a week on a treadmill that measures my heart rate. The heart rates have always been essentially the same. Since the update  there has been a significant variances...20 to 40 points. When I walk at a faster speed with a significant incline the treadmill reading is in line with how I am feeling (about 130 bpm). At the very same time my watch.was reading 98 bpm. Something is wrong with the watch....all since the.upgrade. i have uninstalled/reinstalled the app and turned my watch on and off multiple times. I have also updated my software. What a disappointment. Please.address.

You are not alone!. It's a joke trying to find the battery level. App just sends a notification that the level is low but can never tell me how low.

    Yes it can. 😞

Hello.  I'm still not happy with the new app interface and it's been over 2 weeks.  When will people be given the option to reinstall the old version if that's their preference?  Thank you.

There are a lot of pixels on my Google Pixel, and yet somehow there is only marginally more info displayed on my smartphone app than on my watch. Why so much whitespace (an icon should not take 25% of the screen...missing the point of what an "icon" is) and forced dogmatic groupings? I should not have so much scrolling to view simple metrics. Please try A/B UX testing before letting the intern publish irrevocably to all users, or if you want to move users off the fitbit app, just kill it outright and develop more meaningful information/analytics for the Google Fit app.

This new update is completely crap. I can't see the information that I want to see. I can no longer edit the name of the activities that I am logging. I can't edit activities that were automatically recorded. The logged activities won't even show me the useful information, such as at what points during the workout was I in what heart rate zones, or distance travelled. The PC app no longer does what I have previously used it for (e.g. editing activities). Fitbit has become almost unusable. I have been loyal for quite a few years, and now I am considering getting rid of it completely. The older version did what I wanted it to do. This new version doesn't.

You either need to allow users to roll back to a previous version and then disable updates, or you need to fix the problems that you have created with this new version. It is obvious that I am not alone in this experience. I don't know how patient we will be in expecting these changes.

I find the new look and feel very ugly. Not appealing. Soooo boring.
Time for me to make a change.

And if you paid for it you should get your money back. Boring. Ugly.

Hello, @GeneralLee01 @drborzy @Oldfellanz. Welcome on board and thank you for stopping by! I appreciate your time in sharing your thoughts and feedback towards the new Fitbit app design. I understand how you must be feeling after this change.

As mentioned above, at the moment there's no way to revert the Fitbit app to the old design. However, I'd like you to check this blog to get more information about new updates coming soon to the Fitbit app.

We hope to see your votes!

I hate New app. I need the old way. I want and need to be able to get steps and maps history by scrolling down thru weeks and days. New just doesn't do it
