About This Team

The Global Corporate Communications team supports this vision by driving external communication and narrative strategies to enhance and protect lululemon’s corporate reputation, while building awareness and understanding of the company’s purpose, vision, strategy, and performance.

A Day In The Life

Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Global Corporate Communications, this role is responsible for driving the CEO’s social media strategy and execution, leading the development and management of lululemon’s corporate website and owned corporate content strategy, and supporting the Global Corporate Communications team on key areas including, but not limited to, strategic media relations, Centre of Excellence management, executive thought leadership, and reporting.

The ideal candidate is a highly motivated, collaborative, and inclusive team player who is committed to supporting the Communications function in achieving its goals. This person will have excellent writing skills, strong stakeholder and project management abilities, and extensive experience developing executive social media strategies and working with business media.

  • Lead the development and execution of the CEO’s social media strategy, which includes the creation of an annual strategy, ongoing content development, and weekly reporting.
  • Manage the company’s corporate website strategy, editorial content, projects, vendor, budget, and reporting.
  • Support the team with day-to-day business media relations including engaging with media contacts around business storytelling strategies, managing the media inbox, as well as monitoring and measurement.
  • Assist the team and cross-functional partners with the development and review of corporate communications materials.
  • Work with the team’s corporate communications agency of record as needed on owned content and social media-focused projects.
  • Help drive the corporate communications Centre of Excellence, working with global team members to create and maintain key materials, tools, templates, and processes.

Qualifications

  • You have a minimum of 8-10 years of dynamic experience in a strategic communications role at a global organization.
  • You are a clear communicator with excellent writing skills and a strong ability to solve problems effectively.
  • You are a strategic thinker with a global mindset.
  • You have sharp attention to detail and experience managing multiple projects within tight deadlines.
  • You have executive communications and strategic media relations experience.
  • You have strong verbal and presentation skills.
  • Education: min. Bachelor’s degree.

Compensation And Benefits Package

lululemon’s compensation offerings are grounded in a pay-for-performance philosophy that recognizes exceptional individual and team performance. The typical hiring range for this position is from  $103,500-$ 135,900  annually; the base pay offered is based on market location and may vary depending on job-related knowledge, skills, experience, and internal equity. As part of our total rewards offering, permanent employees in this position may be eligible for our competitive annual bonus program, subject to program eligibility requirements.
