Position Overview

As an HR Assistant/Officer, you will play a vital role in supporting HR department in various administrative and operational tasks. You will work closely with the HR team to ensure the smooth functioning of HR processes, maintain accurate employee records, and contribute to the implementation of HR initiatives.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the recruitment and selection process, including posting job advertisements, screening resumes, scheduling interviews, and conducting reference checks.
  • Prepare employment contracts, offer letters, and onboarding documents for new hires.
  • Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy in HR systems.
  • Support the administration of HR policies and procedures, including leave management, performance management, and employee benefits.
  • Assist with the coordination and delivery of employee training programs.
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide general HR support.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of HR projects and initiatives.
  • Stay up to date with relevant employment laws and regulations to ensure compliance.

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • Proven experience in an HR administrative role, preferably in the aviation or related industry.
  • Solid knowledge of HR processes, policies, and best practices.
  • Familiarity with HRIS systems and proficiency in MS Office Suite.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with a keen eye for detail.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information.
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
  • HR certifications such as SHRM-CP or PHR will be considered a plus.
