Party hats on everyone – the holiday season has arrived! Canva’s slick festive templates and Canva AI can help you spread the cheer in most-excellent style – without a scrap of design prowess.

What we love: Designing bespoke greeting cards. Head to Canva AI, then tap “Design for me” and enter a text prompt to get started (we tried “Christmas card with dragons” with pleasing results), then watch the app generate options. Keep chatting with Canva AI to improve the design, or pick your favourite and tap Use Canva Editor to tinker further.

Don’t miss: Creating a punchy Year-in-Review video in a flash. With Canva’s new Magic Video tool, upload the year’s most memorable moments from your phone Library, set the tone with a text prompt and let Canva AI weave them into a polished video. Play around with the vibe or try a different prompt until your reel is primed for your social channels.

When it’s happening: There are thousands of holiday-themed templates available in the app now. Loads of them are free, with premium templates and Canva AI available with a Canva Pro subscription.
