James is a senior associate in the London Projects Group.

James specialises in advising on construction and project development contracts, including all major standard forms of construction contract and bespoke arrangements, operation and maintenance contracts, supply contracts and ancillaries such as performance security documents. James advises stakeholders across the project such as developers, contractors and supply chain clients, debt and equity funders and offtakers and at all stages of the project cycle.

His experience spans energy, infrastructure and mining projects in the UK and internationally, with particular expertise in renewables and power projects. Prior to joining Watson Farley & Williams James undertook secondments at a major global offshore wind farm developer and at a nuclear waste and fuel transportation specialist.

James speaks conversational Mandarin Chinese and Spanish.
