Ben is an Associate in the London Projects Group.

Ben specialises in project development and construction in the energy and infrastructure sector, acting for financial institutions, developers and contractors both domestically and internationally.

Since joining the firm, Ben has worked in the firm’s London and Bangkok offices.

  • Advising the lenders to a global developer on the financing of greenfield portfolio of c. 350 MW of solar PV assets in Greece, to be supported by a combination of Feed-in-Premium, fixed-price PPA and merchant offtakes.
  • Advised AIM-traded Beacon Energy Plc on its placing of a number of shares for the purposes of funding a proposed acquisition, which would constitute a reverse takeover under the AIM Rules of a company with oil & gas assets in Europe.
  • Advising CREDITAS Group on its acquisition of InterGen Projects (UK) Limited and its UK business from InterGen’s parent company. The acquisition included three operational CCGT plants and one OCGT plant with a combined capacity of 2,800 MW as well as a 450 MW battery storage project.
  • Advising the lenders to a developer on the financing of a co-located 373 MW solar and 150 MW battery storage project located in the UK.
  • Advising a lender in connection with an amendment to an existing financing of a portfolio of solar PV plants located in the UK.
