What search term has peaked the highest in Google Trends history?
The top 4 I have found from plugging in guesses is:
-
election
-
coronavirus
-
facebook
-
2020
Have you found a more search term with a higher peak? (excluding non-nouns like "the")
One moment it's "Kamalla Harris hires child actors", the next it's "Biden won't answer reporters' question at White House meeting", and the top search results seem to come from propaganda outlets like Fox News or the New York Post.
I was just doing some research on google trends and was wondering if the frequency of party searches could be used to infer that parties are more likely to be voted for by undecided voters.
Since here is certainly one or the other expert, I would be very curious about an opinion.
According to my analysis, I would guess that most undecided voters would probably vote SPD and AFD. Would you agree with that?
I searched for “pandemic” and the data shows a small peak in September 2019, so GT must include retrospective searches in their data as there is no other possible way this would appear. As a result, does this impact the accuracy of the data or is it too small a difference to matter, please?
I was looking at many different cheeses on google trends and I noticed that Greece has a disproportionately large amount of stinking bishop searches.
Seems like results shown in Google Trends are based on search queries. Was curious if anyone was aware of a similar tool to Google Trends but was more focused on content of news/media articles as opposed to what people are searching for? Does not seem like Wolfram Alpha does it, and not having much luck with finding anything on the web.

I have a website that shows Google Trends data for the previous day via the API. But, the data for "yesterday's" date always changes well into the next day. In other words, the list of trending searches for the previous calendar day seems to change all day long the NEXT day based on some factor. Does anyone have an idea why the previous day's data seems to change all day long?
Is there an option to get the exact number of hits for searched term in Google Trends?
