Ajay Sahajpal

Ajay Sahajpal is a first-generation immigrant to the United States with small town Canadian roots who provides clinical patient care as a Transplant and Complex Oncology surgeon in a large non-profit Health Care System. Ajay nurtured his passion for patient care and population health further by using his leadership role as Transplant Program Director to champion an electronic medical record driven population health strategy.

During PLS, Sahajpal incorporated his Hepatitis C screening initiative into the health care system across both Wisconsin and Illinois with the goal of taking it national and extending it to other high-acuity disease states to save more lives.
