The original Temple Run was downloaded from iTunes over 75 million times in 2012. With those numbers, I'm surprised it took this long to release a sequel. Nevertheless, fans can now download Temple Run 2 for iOS today.
Unlike the original game, Temple Run 2 has more ways to navigate the courses. Instead of only sharp turns, players now have to move through curves and hills. Other new features include more playable characters with their own strengths and upgrades to give the game some…character.
Android fans, don't fret, according to The Verge, Temple Run 2 will make it to Google Play sometime next week. It would killer is Imangi Studios had plans for BlackBerry 10 or Windows Phone, but there is no word if the popular game will make it any other platforms.
