The lineup is all about cooling your desk or room, not just the inside of your desktop PC.

CPU fan vendor Noctua doesn't just want to cool your PC. The Austrian company is now selling Noctua fans to cool the space around your desk and electronics.

The products—two fans and nine modular accessories—are part of Noctua's new "Home" product line, which is focused on home and office ventilation. Noctua decided to expand into the segment after noticing that some customers were repurposing its CPU fans, which have a reputation for effective and quiet cooling in PCs.

"Our industrial clients as well as tech-savvy DIYers (Do-it-yourselfers) have already been using our fans for applications beyond the PC cooling space for many years, so the new Home line marks the next step in leveraging our technologies for a wider scope of cooling demands and making them more accessible for a broader audience,” said Noctua CEO Roland Mossig.

The Noctua NV-FS1 is already available on Amazon for $99. It’s designed as a premium-grade portable fan with a built-in stand that allows it to sit easily on a desk. Noctua describes it as a "sturdy, premium grade quiet desk or room fan that can be installed just about anywhere using screws, zip-ties or the integrated magnets."

Meanwhile, the Noctua NV-FS2 is a barebones CPU-like fan that attaches to the company’s various modular accessories. It retails for $79 on Amazon.

Other accessories include a mount, power supplies, vibration pads, and gaskets to help place the fans on top of a video game console, audio equipment, or network hardware.

Noctua says its existing CPU fans can be integrated as well through a $44.90 NV-FH-2 fan hub.
