This Crying Northwestern Kid Is the Internet's Favorite GIF Right Now
Anyone who follows March Madness knows just how painful it is to see a referee make the wrong call and see your team go from winning to losing. That's what happened during a game between Northwestern and Gonzaga on Sunday when a referee called a foul on Northwestern during the second half and left one kid extremely upset about it.
The kid is actually John, son of Northwestern's athletic director Jim Phillips. In a GIF from CBS sports, you can see just how upset he gets.

The internet felt the kid's pain, so it turned this GIF and screenshots of him into a meme.

Others made predictions about the kid's future.
This northwestern kid is going to go on to marry the Cash me outside girl. They will have a son that will be the meme to save mankind.

Northwestern should just accept that kid into school right now.

At least this kid has a passion.
I hope we all find something we love as much as this kid loves Northwestern basketball. pic.twitter.com/QrB9P6wru6
