Council publishes first “complete” set of Retail Investment Strategy proposals

Ahead of a Council Working Party meeting on 21/22 May, the Council has published a first comprehensive draft of its proposed changes to the Commission’s Retail Investment Strategy proposals on MiFID II, IDD and the PRIIPs Regulation. It is now expected that the Council will reach its final positions on the RIS package before the end of June 2024. If this is achieved, trilogues will commence later in 2024.
