Tomorrow is THE day. We've got legit data experts coming on our panel to discuss ERP data accuracy. Susan, Juliette, Peyton and Mathieu know their sh!t. And yes, Mathieu is out numbered by female data nerds. The good, the bad, the ugly. And everything in between. Over half of all PO lines will change in their lifetime. But... most Materials Requirement Planning (MRP) systems and processes assume that every PO will magically arrive on-time, in-full, all the time. This causes a lack of integrity in your supply chain plan. As a manufacturer, the only way to stay on top of changes is to invest in a solution that provides real-time visibility into every piece of data in your system. When PO changes are not properly propagated, manufacturers find out when the delivery arrives that it’s partial, late, the order picture is wrong, the production plan is wrong, revenue forecasts are a nightmare, sales plans don’t have a chance, and delivery ultimately suffers immensely. When a buyer sends an order, the supplier must respond with an acknowledgment–usually with a manual “handshake” via email. But these handshakes rarely happen, and when they do, they are often delayed by hours, days, or sometimes even weeks (yikes!). If you don’t have an accurate, real-time handshake with suppliers, your supply chain is at risk. Susan, Mathieu, Peyton and Juliette are gonna share their tips on how to clean up the data in your ERP and keep it clean going forward. 4 things you will learn from our convo: 1. How to set up a process to correctly input data 2. How to use the COAT methodology to clean up existing data and also setup good habits for new data 3. How to keep the data in your ERP clean after completing a data cleansing 4. How to get support from within your business to prioritize ERP data accuracy 👉Register HERE: https://lnkd.in/gPi9czGr

Visor's ability to import customer data is absolutely crucial for the company’s success. Customers need to be able to import their data quickly and successfully. The import process can be complicated because it requires that users make quite a few choices. One inadvertent mistake might mean they pull in too much unwanted data or they don’t pull in all the data they need. Therefore, eliminating the possibility for user mistakes in this process is paramount. Dr. Susan Weinschenk said it best: “Preventing errors from occurring is always better than helping people correct them once they occur.” We strive to make the import process easier by breaking it down into multiple steps with a few simple questions about things like hierarchy, project, status, and date created. Another way to help users avoid mistakes is to consider how easy it is to undo a mistake. To this, Weinschenk says, “If the results of an error are severe then use a confirmation before acting on the user’s action.” As they move through the process of configuring their import, users are able to preview the data that will be imported based on their selections. Visor lets users know how many records will be imported. If the number of records looks too low or too high, customers are able to adjust their preferences before kicking off the import. As we’ve improved the import process over time by breaking it down into smaller steps and adding the ability to preview imports, we’ve seen a high level of success with customers importing the right data on the first try.
