UNESCO estimates that 87% of people consider disinformation to be a major problem. Panelists from leading EU institutions and fact checking organizations joined Matt Cooke to share how the European Media and Information Fund is fueling new projects aimed at combatting the spread of disinformation; from finding new ways of making citizens more interested in facts to countering misinfo through self awareness. This was a great panel! I will definitely check out the countering misinfo game shared by Aleksandra Monkos, PhD
The scale and scope of this ad fraud (plus accounting fraud) and disinformation scheme are both self-explanatory and irrefutable https://bit.ly/3U17W5i https://bit.ly/4d53VWc https://bit.ly/3UnvFxG https://bit.ly/3Un89Rr https://bit.ly/44mpwFH
If such a high percentage considers disinformation to be a serious problem, it means they are also able to distinguish information from disinformation. It's hard to believe.
