Look no further than this post: ➡️ Cloud TPU v5p is now generally available. ➡️ #GKE now supports Cloud TPU v5p and TPU multi-host serving (also generally available 🎉). ➡️ The A3 Mega compute instance, powered by NVIDIA H100 GPUs, offers double the GPU-to-GPU networking bandwidth of A3 and will be generally available in May. ➡️ Confidential Computing is coming to the A3 VM family—in preview later this year. ➡️ The NVIDIA Blackwell GPU platform will be available on the AI Hypercomputer architecture in two configurations: NVIDIA HGX B200 for the most demanding AI, data analytics, and HPC workloads; and the liquid-cooled GB200 NVL72 GPU for real-time LLM inference and training massive-scale models. ➡️ New storage portfolio optimizations for AI workloads, including Hyperdisk ML, a block storage service optimized for AI inference/serving workloads, and new caching capabilities in Cloud Storage FUSE and Parallelstore, which improve training and inferencing throughput and latency. ➡️ Open software advancements, including the introduction of JetStream, along with the latest JAX and PyTorch/XLA releases that improve performance on Cloud TPUs and GPUs ➡️ Now offering new flexible consumption options with Dynamic Workload Scheduler, including calendar mode for start time assurance, and flex start mode for optimized economics. ➡️ For Hugging Face users, the Hugging Face Optimum-TPU package lets you train and serve Hugging Face models on TPUs. Finally, it's not just another AI model competition between cloud services giants, but rather a more customer-oriented strategy aimed at meeting the evolving needs of customers in the AI space. The Dynamic workload scheduler could help them optimize their usage and costs based on their specific requirements, and we all know that AI isn't cheap.
