As a Systems Engineer, your duties will include providing high-quality technical service on a wide variety of hardware and software systems. You will be an active partner in managing business relationships with clients. Additionally, you will also support junior technology staff at River Run.
Primary Duties And Responsibilities
Associate's degree (A. A.) or better or three years+ of related experience in a Microsoft network environment (Windows 2003/2008/2012 domains) with centralized management for hardware, software and backup processes. Industry certifications are preferred, not required.
Transportation
Must have a reliable vehicle and valid insurance.
Physical Demands
The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 10 pounds, sometimes lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

Primary Duties And Responsibilities
- Oversee the management and administration of client networks including client, server, cloud topologies
- Recommend, implement, and manage backup systems and Disaster Recovery plans
- Recommend, implement, and manage industry best practices for authentication and auditing
- Design and implement technical solutions for new and existing clients
- Engage in and oversee network administration including advanced routing analysis
- Assist the Support Team and technical field staff as needed in the handling and resolution of escalated issues
- Partner with the sales staff to present complex technical solutions
- Lead complex technical project implementations
- Resolve escalated troubleshooting issues
- Proficiency in Windows server administration, Active Directory, and Group Policy
- Proficiency in networking including subnets, routing, DNS, DHCP, VLAN, and wireless topologies
- Proficiency in security appliances including firewall rules and policy, content filtering, and log review
- Proficiency in cloud-based email solutions including message tracing and spam filtering
- Proficiency in hypervisor solutions such as VMware, Hyper-V, physical/virtual SANs, VMotion, and clustering
- Experience in design and support of fault-tolerant environments
- Experience in change management such as firmware, OS, and third-party application patching
- Experience in managing cross platform environments
- Experience in managing remote workplace solutions including IPSEC and SSL VPNs
