Sr Manager, Facilities

Education: Associate or Bachelor Degree in a technical discipline required
Experience: 7+ Years of practical facilities engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills/Abilities:
- Develop, manage, and maintain robust service/scheduling programs for facility equipment and utilities, including electrical system, HVAC equipment, security systems, etc.
- Lead direct reports and contract personnel plus outside vendors in the performance of contracted services.
- Implement and manage contracts for facility equipment calibration and maintenance, janitorial services, pest control services, lab equipment, waste management, shredding services, etc.
- Ensure the facility complies with OSHA, Air Quality, and local regulations related to building, waste and work environment.
- Maintain and control as-built documentation for the lab and office areas.
- Develop facilities department budgets. Track costs throughout the year. Develop relationships with key departmental contacts and maintain information flow throughout the company on facility issues.
- Coordinate and direct plant shutdowns to include preventative maintenance, major projects and plant modifications.
- Work with other groups (Production, Quality, Finance etc.) in process, quality, and cost improvement projects, as well as in troubleshooting any issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation and systems around facilities operation, maintenance and monitoring.
- Assure cGMP compliance of facilities services and systems according to Standard Operating Procedures.
- Follow cGMP procedures established by the site e.g. Change Control, Deviation, CAPA, etc.
- Write equipment procedures / forms as needed.
- Maintain Work Orders / Documentation in Equipment History Files.
Education: Associate or Bachelor Degree in a technical discipline required
Experience: 7+ Years of practical facilities engineering experience in a manufacturing environment.
Skills/Abilities:
- Possess a solid background in facilities and/or maintenance project management
- Experience in aseptic bio-processing and clean room technologies desired
- Solid understanding of current Good Manufacturing Practices is preferred
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
- Good computer skills with MS Office
