Senior Vice President - Asset Management

The company is looking to hire an SVP to join their Asset Management team.

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for conducting monthly valuations of all assigned investments.
• Monitor and manage a diverse portfolio of unique illiquid credit investments.
• Be prepared to take the lead in aggressive loan restructure/workout activities.
• Collaboration with Finance and Operations teams
• Develop presentations that encompass transaction structure, financial projections, and background information.
• Must possess the ability to both lead and coach, taking personal responsibility for exemplifying and overseeing the management of complex assets. Additionally, must provide guidance and training to team members and support analysts.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree from a reputable university, preferably in a quantitative field such as finance, economics, or accounting.
• Minimum of 10-15 years of industry experience, with a focus on illiquid and alternative credit, including commercial and industrial loans.
• Solid foundation in credit analysis skills, likely gained from working in a commercial bank or credit company.
• Extensive exposure to and comfort in dealing with loan workout and restructuring situations. Demonstrated ability to guide and advise during a loan workout process.
• Experience with complex structured illiquid credit transactions is highly desirable.
• Excellent writing skills for investment memoranda are essential.
• Proficiency in Excel and financial modeling.
• Understanding of basic risk management approaches would be advantageous.
