Responsibilities
- Support startup and operations of building management systems and utilities for labs, GMP manufacturing, warehouse and office space. Schedule and oversee planned maintenance, shutdown and startup activities for the facility, including utilities, office and general building maintenance.
- Lead a team of internal and external resources responsible for facilities services including calibration, preventive maintenance and repairs of equipment, janitorial, pest control, GMP cleaning, waste management, and site security administration. Select and manage external suppliers (vetting, onboarding, oversight, contract management).
- Responsible to lead direct report(s) through annual goal setting, growth planning, adherence to company policies, maintain training compliance and provide ongoing feedback on growth, development and areas of improvement
- Monitor and manage performance of critical utility systems in support of GMP manufacturing, development of standard operating procedures for facilities programs, and the maintenance management systems.
- Partner with Corporate EH&S organization to ensure required safety and environmental compliance programs are delivered and performing as intended on the site. Sponsor a safety culture through demonstrated behaviors and systems.
- Ability to work intermittent, on-call schedules as needed to support manufacturing and systems uptime.
- Bachelor’s degree and 7+ years of experience in a regulated industry OR Associates degree in a technical discipline, trade school, or equivalent experience with 10+ total years of relevant experience
- Technical experience in maintenance and operation of lab, manufacturing, warehouse and office environments.
- Experience managing a team or individuals
- Physical – must be able to don specialized gowning, lift 50 lbs occasionally, climb ladders, stand for extended periods, etc.
