Job Description:

As a Senior Logistics Specialist at Jetco Delivery, you will play a key role in optimizing our logistics operations to ensure the seamless movement of goods and materials for our clients. Reporting to the Logistics Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and executing the end-to-end logistics process, from coordinating shipments to managing transportation routes and ensuring timely delivery.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate and manage transportation activities, including scheduling pickups and deliveries, optimizing routes, and tracking shipments.
• Collaborate with carriers, vendors, and internal teams to ensure efficient and cost-effective transportation solutions.
• Monitor and analyze transportation data to identify opportunities for process improvements and cost savings.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with carriers and vendors to ensure reliable and timely service.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies and procedures.
• Provide guidance and support to junior logistics team members, including training and mentoring.
• Handle customer inquiries and resolve issues related to transportation and logistics operations.
• Prepare and present reports and analysis on transportation performance and key metrics to management.

Qualifications:

• 5 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or supply chain management.
• Proven track record of success in managing transportation operations and optimizing logistics processes.
• Strong knowledge of transportation regulations, industry best practices, and emerging trends.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.
• Proficiency in transportation management systems (TMS) and other relevant software applications.
